Error 3 Updating to 2.7.0

There seems to be an error going on with the following path for the 2.7.0 patcher.

I've checked the path shown, and Elite_data.sga is there.

Is this a known error? Very confident that re-installing Elite Mod 2.6 won't help, as it seems to be an issue with the 2.7.0 updater, at least from what I can tell.

EDIT: There's an idea, going to try dropping the 2.7 patch over at another location and seeing if I can drop it into the Retribution folder. Did not work.

Just in case this wasn't mentioned before, but you have to upgrade from 2.6.1, not 2.6. The installer doesn't work for 2.6 to 2.7.

Well that would certainly cause an issue, really embarrassed I didn't think to try that...
