Console commands?
Hey all, just registered to inquire about the mod. This is in the 2.2.4 beta version; my girlfriend and I were playing it for the first time tonight, and I can't help but wonder if these console commands (~) have any potential to them. Can we do things like increase pop cap, or unveil fog of war with this in the middle of a game (or before one), or is there any other way to modify things like that?

i don't think so but i've never looked into it or seen a post about it.
Re: Console commands?
While I haven't played around with the console, many consoles either in games, network devices, servers, command line and so forth have built in help for beginners and experienced users.
Cisco/netgear/Brand plug routers and switches for instance uses the ? for help with specific commands.
Command line on windows is /? for syntax help or simply typing 'help' will give you a list of commands (but not the entire library) that you can use from the very first time that you open the window.
There's also the tab key when you get somewhat experienced with commands, which does auto fill for you given you've done the right syntax.
In terms of the middle of the game I have a feeling that commands will be limited to non existent for obvious reasons. I always wondered that myself if you could remove the FoW during the middle of a FFA or that a feature could be added in to remove it from the very start of the game. Not that I'm making a feature request or anything of the sort. That would be a lot of fun being able to see all the battles and backstabs that were happening rather than sitting in your base and just listening through it all.

Re: Console commands?
The console is used to invoke SCAR functions. You can invoke the commands in comp stomps and custom maps but not in PVP because it will cause a sync error. You can add modifies or run custom SCAR commands. I use command console to test my functions where possible to print out debug information.

I'm getting back into the mod with the release of 2.3. By any chance have these been made to work in multiplayer yet?
