Quick question: still need that 2 unit portrait (the nurgle chosen + acolyte)?

Or Swooping Hawks for Eldar!?!?!

Chaos Chosen?!?!!? Possessed Marines!?!?! Blightlord Terminator!?!?!?!!?!?!?!!?

Maybe a Slaanesh Champion too?!?!?! Would inspire me to actually make the hero finally lol

These are cool, but shouldn't we focus on what we actually have??? As if the balance of new stuff wasn't contentious enough already.

Personally, I wouldn't mind a Dire Avenger portrait, since the one that we use is ripped from somewhere.

Its not really for Elite mod lol. Those units are in my True40K mod. And if he ever found the time to do extra then i gave him what i would like to help the squad bar so players can glance to see what squad is binded to what. or instantly see their HP pool.

Haha, anything can happen actually =)
This is the only free stuff that I do by my own accord and I enjoy WH40k anyways :D
Aside of that, if you just tell me what needs to be done, like what kind of graphic element you need, I'll try to do it :)
With my last company, I was doing UI elements as well as cursors and whatnot, so its not a new thing ^^

Aside of that, I think I'll do the last 2 that was mentioned before, the Nurgle chosen + the Acolyte portrait then we can discuss what we need ^^
And thanks Swift, good to be back around :) Ironic that DoW2 is still going strong with the community, even after so many years XD

The Acolyte isn't really a squad, just a squad leader so it probably won't have its own portrait besides the upgrade icon. I understand you want to do it, but just giving you a heads up on it.

I don't think we need portaits for vehicles. Vanillia vehicle pics are just model shots, just like we did on new Elite vehicles. Lets just focus on infantry for now.

Yea, I'm aware, same for the Plague champion? Or its a separate squad...?
Either way, I'll just do what you wish me to, if you dont need it I'd not spend time needlessly on it :D
So it would be easier if you could make a priority list for the unit portraits that needs to be done.
Sadly I'm quite out of the loop when it comes to DoW2 ^^; I dont really know what changed since I last checked it :'D

Your stuff is way better than the vanilla portraits, so is "everything" an option?

So I know where I'm with this and I can insert it into my to-do list ^^
Ofc things that have a placeholder or just butt-ugly would have a higher priority. Changing already existing ones would be on the lower end of the spectrum :) All can be done ofc!

Ok, probably in order of priority:

Chosen Plague Marines
Terminator Force Commander
Dire Avengers
Acolyte
Kasrkin (though tbh the Kasrkin portrait we have at the moment seems fine as is so I guess thats up for people to decide if they want a new one)

I don't think there are any others we need since there don't seem to eb concrete plans to add a Slaaneshi champion yet, but don't let anything hold you back :]

Maybe a new portrait for Lictor Alpha, so we can have a difference with T3 Lictor. Default portrait quality seems kind of lame to me.

Just a quick question:
Termi Commander, with or without helmet? Asking since Gabriel for example dont have one, while if I remember correctly the normal termi commander has...? So which one should I do? :)
EDIT: also we already have 2 terminator heads for assault + normal terminator squads, not sure if ppl wont confuse them?

Working on the Chaos guys now ^^

Considering the fact that the Termi Commander in game has a helmet, the portait should have a helmet as well.
