Please Help!

Just installed the elite mod but it will not let me join any games. Games pop up but they are grayed out and unable to click and join. Are there map packs I must get or something?

You're either very unlucky - you went online at a time when there were no games of Elite beta 5 up. I doubt this though.

Or more likely you've installed something wrong. Elite 2.2 beta 5 on top of normal retribution is what you're meant to do - although some people have been having problems with most recent version.

Make sure you are using 2.2 Beta 5 and not 2.1.

sounds like you're on 2.1

in order to get 2.2 beta 5 to work you need to install beta 3 first, maybe beta 4, and then beta 5 as beta 5 is missing a few files.

and it works only if you start it from the desktop icon.
