It's that time again boyz, with a new(old) balance head to blame for everything and more things to exploit, with new goodies added and the League on the horizon, it's time to scrub off the rust and find out which faction is the best in 1v1s again. Last time VindicareX took the throne with Chaos and put IG and Eldar mains in their place, that shows that faction wars cannot be predicted only played out!
1. When does it start?
2023/01/07 for Group stage
2023/01/28 for Playoffs
Fresh new year what a better way to start it!
2. Who can join?
Tier 1 Players only in Division A (that includes the top dogs of div b from last tournament).
Tier 2 Players with at least 500 Hours Playtime in Division B (show me does sweaty builds and massive floats lads).
3. What is the format?
1v1 Location: Random Resources: standard VPS: 500
In the group stage it is going to be one BO3 vs each player. The group stage will last for 3 weeks hopefully people will actually see how much time they have this time and not go - "Wot i have to play all my gamez now, I taught i haz a month more."
NO if you fail to play your games until 2023/01/28 you are disqualified! Finals will be BO5 with Hero elimination (more info in rules.)
After that bottom players drop out and the Top 5 players for both groups (for both div A and div B) are seeded into the Final Bracket Stage (also called Playoffs).
4. The Rules:
1. One faction from start to finish, you name your faction and stick with it to the finals win or lose, your faction shall be locked in on 2023/01/06 so do all you faction switches until then.
2. ONE HERO PER MATCH, EVEN IF YOU LOSE WITH HIM!
3. In the finals which will be BO5 you can still pick your hero if you lost with him, you cannot pick that hero again if you won with him.
4. Each player gets a veto for a map, if you veto a map it stays veto'd for the whole BO3 or BO5 in the finals.
5. Maps will be picked by the dreaded rollmap-channel, also same map can't be played twice, if you roll it again reroll.
6. Use the ESL Reporter, and send a massage on who won to me via discord.
7. In case of a SB, replay the match with the same map and heroes. If there is a disagreement send replay to me I will be the arbiter.
6. Punishment for not playing/delaying to much or being a twat.
SHAME! also disqualified.
Shitposting is only allowed in hero picking faze, in-match we keep it civil, we are Elite players not Elite baboons.
Had some problems with people being ON at the same time in the playoffs so hopefully we will avoid these problems this time. I almost kicked VidicareX out and he managed to come on the last minute and win the tournament so yeah, BE ON TIME PLS!

2nd place - You tried hard so a prestigious Warhammer 40k themed silver certificate approved by Atlas that you led your faction to the finals but something was just a bit more op +50 EUR prize.
3rd place - Still something, prestigious bronze Warhammer 40k themed certificate free to say that it's the most balanced faction +30 EUR prize.
DIV B
Same but first place get 40 EUR prize.
Second gets 10 EUR prize.

A: Everybody wanted to be unique last time so there weren't that many actually, was very pleasant to see.

A: Nobody was fooled by this one.
Q: Gonna delay my faction pick till the last second so I wouldn't get counter picked, is that allowed?
A: Factions will be locked in on 2023/01/06 so decide until then.
Q: Is random faction allowed?
A: Random is not a faction so no.
Q: Does it matter when I veto the map?
A: No you can veto whenever you feel like, only one veto per player.
