It's been a bug since retail. It's caused by transports having units in them, and the weapons' scatter mechanic causing it to "miss".

Scatter? I thought scatter only checks for another hit after the first target was missed. And melta dread has 100% accuracy on the move so it shouldnt miss. And it did like 15 shots with no damage at all but every hit with a fist (since i forced melee to catch up with chim) worked as intened.
I've never had this issue b4 and it happens now every single game when some1 actively uses transports. And it only works after some1 tries to give order to attack the transport/units that pop in and out like the dread that gets orders to attack guardsmen then force melee the transport. It does not seem like stopping/giving new orders and then going back to attacking transport resolves the issue. Plus i've seen falcon deal no damage to chimera, but since faclon spews like 6 shots in a burst and deals no damage, it should be pretty unlucky to miss all of them. Its either unit trying to target the infantry inside chimera which is i think possible since it does not cancel attack command if unit gets in the vehicle/building or scatter works in some more tricky way than i thought which is also possible

Bug report. Sadly I don't have the replay any more (uninstalled game). It was 2.4.2
Falcon stuck with 3 squads inside. No way to move or turn, units couldn't get out. An eldar team mate had to destroy it with his/her wraithguard (painful).
Didn't hear about this bug elsewhere...

Its not an elite mod problem but still...
While playing the game i noticed that i couldnt switch layout from english to russian neither in game, nor in steam overlay, i had to minimize the game, type smth in steam, then maximize it again and it was back english again. I thought that was my problem but i recently talked with a russian guy that can switch layout from russian to english in the game so he is forced to type russian and cant communicate with english speaking guys. So the problem is as i see it, that game locks the default keyboard layout and will not allow to change it and since i have english defaul keyboard layout im locked with english, those who have russian by default (which is standart in all the russian windows versions, i changed it for myself since i type more in english). Would be nice if u could unlock it though i have a feeling that it could be smth with steam overlay since i've encountered this problem b4 in some steam game but i dont remember which... The solution was to open steam overlay, open chat window, change layout there, close steam overlay, enjoy changed layout. If u need to change it back, do it all over again.
So the problem with all those not communicating ppl could be cuz of not-english keyboard layout which should be default for not english speakers that have their own keyboard layout...

This is a hold over from them using the campaign armor Barding Flight as base - it's used fairly often in mods due to it's Assault parts.
Should be easy enough to simply cut/paste the parts of the belt from a matching blank armor's texture onto the Barding Flight ones.
As for that last picture, it looks like the tabard/loincloth itself actually. Don't really have the time to check for myself.

Update on a problem with switching keyboard layout:
I can not switch keyboard layout neither if i set it to Alt+shift nor if i set it to Ctrl+shift but I CAN switch languages if i bind a key combination to "switch layout to russian"/"switch layout to english" in windows language settings. Looks like the problem is that the game's own switching function is present, overriding windows' one and not working

Dont know if it's bug or intended but Leman Russ with Vanquisher canon can not attack ground (with regular weapon it can)

Not like it needs to. Vanquisher has no splash damage, even if it could, it would've been quite useless
BTW just I was checking the game files and found that predator uses the wrong voice file for lascannon upgrade. It has the phrase about sponson being upgraded to heavy bolters or lascannons(that are not even in a game) which it uses but it also have a "predator annihilator upgrade complete" phrase which it probably should use cuz annihilator tanks are the one with twin lascannon turret (english_000_speech\SOUND\wav\speech\mp\spacemarine\presa_pre_upg_gentlcgencom_nh_s_9027484a)

Well, regular Gun and Vanq use the same damage type but regular got AG and vanq not. AG is useful against for example capping scouts with infiltration. Also, AG is useful to keep your gun in right direction when chasing something.

Dont know if intended but 'Basilisk flare' doesn't affect the Plasma Devastator and i believe Sonic too.

Got any proof of that Dandy? Because last time I played, it did affect them both.

Well, i have this issue all the time. Even yesterday. Used flare directly on plasma but it was still shooting with the same range. Ill save the replay next time and will post here

Manticore missiles heal the GK Dreadnought instead of damaging it.
Operative explosives do no damage to big structures (IG bunkers, set up Chimera, etc.).
EDIT: The Ops' demo charge appears to heal vehicles as well (a Falcon at least).
EDIT2: Just tried it on my own GK Dreadnought and it damaged it normally, but I've double-checked the Falcon heal in the replay and it's legit.

Hmm, maybe somehow connected to set up teams not reacting to range increase adequatly. Same with purgations that use astral aim or how is it called. They do get more range, they do shoot at extra range but when u give them an order to attack smth in that extra range they pack up and move closer like the range was the same

Hello I'm new on the forum but also in the game (less than 100 hours). Firstly i wanna say thanks to all the staff for his job to permit an improvement of that game wich is a bit sad without elite mod.
So now my problem, before i could play normally to elite mod. Now after the updates i d'ont know why, but i can't join steam community, i can't invite a friend to play a party, but i can start a "last stand" (good news ^^). No seriously i know that it's impossible to run a laststand so if anyone have an answer thanks to him

Actually, with the new patch I think you actually can play Last Stand on Elite now. Not 100% sure but fairly confident.
Make sure you're on the correct version of Elite (2.4.2) because otherwise you'll be isolated from the rest of us and invites won't work.

I'm on the 2.4.2 version, i've download it many times, a friend ask me the idea that it could be because of the "Dawn of War 2 retribution" on the steam lybrary. Should I re-install it ?

Chimera's front heavy bolter needs to be looked at. It hardly fires if at all anymore.
I know something is wrong because the Banewolf fires its heavy bolter whenever it can, without any problems. Also, suppression?

Rangers on occasion refuse to fire and will constantly try to melee instead. Swapping the stance doesn't fix it and losing enough models will fix the issue since the game thinks they're a new squad.
This would explain how the portraits at the bottom change position after you lose enough models.

This is happening consistently now and not once every so often.

No idea if it's intentional or already known, but:
when upgrading ASM to vanguard veterans, all four models will spawn even if the ASM squad is down to one model.

Interceptors keep the melee decorator when switching to ranged stance.
