The Sentinel stomp doesn't stun at all now, it's useless. This needs to be fixed ASAP.
[EDIT:] I tested it on 4 different units to be sure, Sluggas, Stormboys, shootas and Hormaguants, the stomp does not stun units it just knocks them back. Change the Sentinel Stomp value back to the way there were before, and deal with the units that become permanently stunned directly, change their values not the Sent's.
This here reminds me an awful lot like when Relic removed the HWT's las guns, so the squad wouldn't spawn additional heavy weapons, but it didn't fix that, the squad were still able to get a secondary heavy weapon, now they would just run close to the enemy and glitch them whenever you targeted an enemy.

Change X and Y and somehow A gets changed. It's a strange phenomenon. It just goes to show that it's not a flawless system to work with, but it's always been like that. The insults are just really fucking annoying because when things gets screwed up, it's sometimes beyond our controls to do anything about it, or expect things to break down.
Just report the bug, and it'll get sorted. Insulting Relic, or the modding team isn't going to do you any favors, they tried and worked as best they could.

So i used to play elite mode on 2.4 i needed to install in an order, but then i needed to install my pc all over again becuse i had some virus etc. so i wanted to install elite mode and i was told i only needed to install2.5 and i would be able to play i can install it very well i checked the folder and all but when i click on the shortcut to play the game it says launching and nothing happens can anyone help me?
I have Norton btw dont know if that is helpfull but norton normally is a bitch

You must disable Norton or it fucks the process.

I have Norton too, it will ask you when you use the executable installer. And you can merely allow it to install like I think you did. So that shouldn't be the problem.
Try checking you did everything correct again. Most of the times it's a small oversight.
And otherwise other people might be able to help if you gave them some more info.

Don't get Norton, it's the biggest waste of time in the world. Same applies to McAfee. I remember having a virus once and neither of them detected the virus and they both said after a full system scan that everything was hunky-dory. I knew it wasn't though and I had to manually go through all my shit and remove the virus itself, so what's the point of even having the anti-virus in the first place? Furthermore, it's actually worse than that because if you were totally obtuse, or just not very knowledgeable about viruses, you may just have faith in the anti-virus software and never actually do anything about the virus thinking you were fine...
I recommend Kaspersky instead. Kaspersky has worked wonders for me.

One question.
The Sentinel Stomp was changed because AFAIK causes permastun in Lictors (No the Lictor Alpha) Had also the same permastun effect on other units?
Because then the bug could be on the Lictor unit, not the Sentinel Stomp ability.

Well I've used Norton since before I started working on Elite and this is the first time I've heard/considered it could cause issues with it... I can't see how, really.
As for Norton being BS, you could maybe fortify your position with something more than a "but one time" anecdote... Personally I picked it after about two weeks of reading every antivirus test, review or comparison I could find. Yeah I didn't choose to pay for it because they all said it was shit...

How exactly would it be with the Lictor?
As for the Kal-El Duran Duran discussion, actually I just forgot to test the Ground Pound change so that would have been avoidable. And I'm uncertain if some insult was intended or not... But as a general rule of thumb, if you play a mod we make on our free time, without compensation, and comment it on what is basically my personal forum, you do want to steer clear of those.

It is possible, since I made the installer script based on beta 4 (update only) installer. If that's the case get the module from one of the old installers (unpack it into a temporary folder and pick Elite_beta.module from there). I will check/fix the beta 5 installer when I get home from work (eventually... could be another 16 hours)

So I am having this same problem, I only installed 2.5 first, like Proenca, using the shortcut got no results. I then tried downloading 2.3 and 2.4 and re-downloading 2.5, but I got the same problem. What am I doing wrong?

Chaos Raptors "Daemonic Fury" damage decreased from 200 to 150
Chaos Raptors "Blood Maul" removed for now}
Really this was the problem they play horrid as is. Way to frail it's turned into nerf this , cheap this cost. put tics bake at 300 give speed buff back. I figured it out it's DOW1 of cheap troops that are frail. If 200 D. Fury was too OP raise the cost of squad. Not make them weaker in fury. or try 180-175. They are too frail for shock troops. 500-550 and buff would have been better. Or fix frailness of Raptors.

i have no idea why it's not working. the betas are in a separate folder than the standard releases so there shouldn't be any issues with missing files there.
is the module file in beta 3? i don't think it's in beta 4 but it should be in beta 3. if it's not that's probably the issue. i know beta 1 has all the files though.

Ok I got it to work. My solution is probably a pretty obvious step to everyone else, but I deleted the elite beta folder. Then I simply re-installed everything in order from 2.3 on. Thanks for the quick reply!

the Raptors are too soft vs any lore or gameplay. I don't understand the solutions of if they are to strong nerf them. They are a frail unit as is. Buff the cost to 500-550, then keep nerfing their current weaker state. They are supposed to be ASM equals/as well same armor as SM/CSM but play wise they lose out.

hope I post in right place. first thing, AWESOME JOB with this mod (new units and whole new race....daamn!!...I blown away) won't be rocking anymore CoH for a while.
I'm still learning all the races against AI. Just gonna throw it out there, I noticed the AI sometimes cannot capture power nodes (just the new beta I think, didn't see it in 2.1) It just sends units to it and camps around it. Haven't noticed anything else, hope it helps..
