Yeah this Eldar hate is kinda funny. I remember last year barely anybody but Asmon, Hans and Adila was running Eldar in Elite (out of the players I knew). Then xHoLyHammerx started playing WSE, kicking ass all over in 3v3s (he got champ like 8 times in a row in my lobby iirc) and then I started to see a lot of people playing Eldar and subsequent complaints began.

Seems like people often mistake something that's powerful for something that's overpowered. Just because that powerful unit/thing when used right decided the game that they were in.

Well imo banshees are fine except for the retreat rape potential. That is just a tad bit too good. And gayts are currently bit too good. I don't think Luldar are brokenly OP but still they are currently probably the strongest race with decent level micro. And I do think that Nid lulfestation towers are also too good especially since the on/off combat mechanic thingy is a bit funny imo.

Yes, the on/off combat registering is wonky at best, not quite really worked up to the expectations on that degree. But that's for another topic.

I'd love to hear more on other factions, I think I've gathered enough from this thread already. There's a severe lack of spicy juicy loveable information on other factions, so I'm locking this thread (if I can, luls), so I expect endless amount of posts in the morning on other factions respective threads.

Things that I will investigate
* Eldar Webway Gates - Some proposition have been abit over-the-top, but I understand some concerns with them. I do not wish them to become an non-existant purchase, as it's abit of an ingredient to the factions design

* Retreat-killing shaningans - Again, there are great deals of exagurrations of these. There's a certain degree of missplays that is also required to calculate this into actual balance evaluation. We don't want to impact on their overall performance as a whole, which I think many would agree is not the issue, it's the retreat-speed-killing-SMFanBois (luls) for the most part.

* Dark Reaper re-evaluation on their anti-infantry. They're a niché unit, but I feel they should fullfil a more flexible role to some degree. I've got some ideas to this, so I'm giving Eldar some love as well, I don't just pay attention to the haters.

If you feel that I've missed something out, drop me a private message. I assume with some of the non-existing wargear discussions. (Since the primary concern is obvious at this stage) that they're okay as they are?
