Yes, please. I'll then make the new texture. This time hopefully without unnecessary stretching.

Alright, so I adjusted the textures to the new model. Hopefully they'll look better now.

Good job, this for the planned conscripts?

Well, I wouldn't know what Cealtos has in mind.
But I allways wanted to make a Mordian Iron Guard skin.
The talking about Conscripts/White Shields/whatever just reminded me to take another look at it.
___
You did like a military soft cap for the Blood Axes pack, right? Based on the LG's?

Still have to figure out how to do the jacket flap / collar thingy, since the model only uses half a (mirrored )texture.
throw a double line of buttons down the shirt and leave it at that. or you could add a square piece there, like there's some kind of thicker material for the double breast.

Oh it would be great if it could be fitted to go on a Guardsman.
Edit: went back to your CSMs. I think I almost got the Rubrics done too.
As far as I noticed the pack you sent me didnt actually contain any Rubric heads/helmets. ( weird crest thingy )
Is that intended?

Oh crap, I should have done, at the risk of giving you more to work on I'll upload later.
Nice job on the guardsman by the way, when the models ready and you've got a head just upload here and I'll get to making the hat fit.
This still for the potential new unit for the Commissar or something else?

Jesus christ, the forum deleted my answers... somehow. *sigh*
Again;

No worries.

Thanks for the support.
I would have put the cap on a standard guardsman head, but now I'm not sure if there is one without headgear // if the head and the helmet are seperate models.
This still for the potential new unit for the Commissar or something else?
Like I said, no idea what Cealtos has in mind for Conscripts, or if he even pulls through with the idea.
Doing it mostly for funsies.

Here are the files for the Rhubric heads - if you could just ensure that the Primary area is always "Regal Blue" and the Secondary and Tint areas are always "Shining Gold"
https://www.mediafire.com/?8kdcecagnac7s87Plus here is the cap on a Guardsman - let me know if you think it needs altering in some way.

Cheers

Okey, I think something might have gone wrong somewhere. I better ask, just to make sure.
A while ago you linked/uploaded these images.
Colourable areas aside, is this how the finished models are supposed to look like?

Because I went back and redownloaded your files, just to be sure, and it doesnt contain
any of the Rubric stuff, only files in folders named "r_chaos_marines", are those ment for the Rubrics? They dont match the screenshot, so I'm not sure if they are ment for the Rubrics or the Berserkers.
Also the T-visor Khorne Helmet is missing.
So, Im not sure if you packed some wrong files, if something was lost during the upload or if your designs just differ from the screenshots.
Better save than sorry.

Lookin' good.
But would it be possible to scale and/or pull down, to make it sit tighter?
It shouldnt be a problem if his head is clippen throuw the the peak or the cap itself, I can just make those parts of his head transparent.
But its allways hard to tell from a screenshot whats possible.

I'll double check when I get home but yes all the rhubric armours are called r_chaos_marine (that's just what Shuma named them all).
I'm sure both are in there, one is "beserker" and one "khornate_rare" or something similar.
Like I said I'll double check tonight and let you know.
And yes can shrink the cap some more, was just trying to avoid clipping, but if you can sort that out the will make it fit better.

Yup, the Khornate armours are there.

Right I think these are the right ones - having looked over the files they've been packed up rather confusingly - with the models in the r_marine folders and the textures in the "rhubric_marine" folders - which I have uploaded here.
https://www.mediafire.com/?shiaxxe1afa588bThanks for double checking.
Updated with a better fitting hat - just deleted the parts of the head that wont be seen.

Gotta ask, do you put the model together in the normal model viewer/editor?
( head on torso, weapons in hands etcetc )
Never figured out how to load several resources at once.

The best way to check is open the model from "troops" not "troops_wargear" this is basically just the bones but has all the animations. Then add all the actual model files through the "attachments" section in model editor. That way you have all the different parts plus you can run through animations (found on the "animations tab) to check for problems when the model is moving too.
However you can only edit texture paths etc when you open the model rather than as an attachment so really you want to use this way to take screengrabs and look at the overall finished model.
