I am glad that the Master-crafted bolter of the Apo by DavidCZ is displayed correctly. But what about the dark reapers and the Master-crafted bolter of the Techmarine? These things still black =( I thought you had found the problem.
Torpid, yes, that wargear works as a melee denial. But I heard he was given an ability to provoke squads to attack him. Looks like it was declined.

Is it the missing mip map texture problem?
If its just that David can maybe upload just the fixed texture files and you drop them into your ELITE folder, if its too late to "fix" the patch.

Yes, it is the mip map issue. And I actually updated all the links quite a while age. I hoped they'd be updated in the new patch as well. For now I guess you'll just have to download and put the textures in the appropriate folders manually. All the links are here:

Bleh I missed this one. I can make an installer for putting the stuff in place though. Won't include this in the hotfix as I want to get it out immediately and the texture thing doesn't affect most people.
Which leads me to:
2.2 beta 9 hotfix for fixing the Tyrant Guard "Shieldwall" bug (looks like I clicked 'addition' instead of 'multiply' when making the fix).

Yes sorry my fault. A quick fix is to locate and edit the skirmish.scar file which if I remember correctly in Data\simulation. Near the top of the is a line called
Code: Select all
CONTROL_GROUP_PROTRAT_BINDINGS = false .
It should read
Code: Select all
CONTROL_GROUP_PROTRAT_BINDINGS = true . This should be set as default but I forgot to change it after my testing.

Is your antivirus deleting the file upon download?
If you are trying to launch the installer from the browser and if the file is deleted, that error message would make sense.

Hey AndreiCZ, I finally got around to uploading the installer files to my dropbox.
Hopefully you will be able to download them from these links:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/548 ... taller.exehttps://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/548 ... hotfix.exeLet me know once you've downloaded the files so I can remove them from my box.
If this doesn't work, you should check your network settings/ISP/firewall/etc.

If I edit this myself using notepad++ will I still be able to play with other people?

I have the same issue downloading, the dropbox link no longer works.
I have tried chrome, IE, and firefox and all of them have some form of error when the download completes.
If there is something I should know for downloading both 2.2 (beta 9) and its hotfix please enlighten me
thank you!

the dropbox link doesn't work anymore because i deleted the files from my box.
what is the error message after the download completes?
i am inclined to believe that this is a antivirus issue and not a connection issue nor a problem with the download provider (google) because you say you can complete the download, and then the error pops up.

hey Fish thank you for the reply!
chrome & firefox say "unknown network error"
Internet Explorer either gets eternally stuck in a virus scan or glitches on the download and downloads to 500MB then reports an error.
I will try disabling my antivirus and downloading, will inform you of my results asap

Tactical Squad "Flamer" cost increased from 65/15 to 65/20
If I recall correctly it had an increased purchase time to compensate for the 15 power, reverse that one please?
Dreadnought "Assault Cannon Barrage" range decreased from 40 to 35
The dred has a huge deadzone, remove it? Because I hope there will be no disagreement, but the action range it has is fucking pathetic now, look at the screen please.

Thank you for the upgrade, it's always a good thing nerf the tyr
Btw, there will be the possibity to change the hotkeys?
It's a little bit annoying to press G trying to train Fire Dragon and instead receiving DA...
Also is there a way to recall directly to the command center, without returning to it via minimap?
