I prefer friday or sunday as tournament days, but as I`m absolutely new to elite mod, you could easily ignore my preferences to let more skilled players compete ;)

LOL you coward! I was worried that this style of "anti-counter pick" tournament would actually encourage people to sand bag and stick with their best race. Oh well, still should be fun. I might think about trying to join this one...

So, if triple picking a race is a thing, can I triple pick GK commanders ;)

I have noticed a trend of some players simply picking a faction wholesale. Considering I see at least one person picking all Eldar, you got your work cut out for you Toil :]

As for you Sinister,
Could you play on Saturday? I try to go with the day that the most people can come on and I hate to lose people. It's not set in stone as of yet, but Saturday seems to be the good day this time around.

Next MRT that is this type of style you can have the rule that you have to pick 3 commanders from 3 different races :)
If that's your aim. It's sorta fine like this imo. Heroes really make a huge impact on how you play a race.

I`d love to, but most certainly won`t be available on Saturday. Heck, I not even sure about Friday/Sunday now.
I guess it`s better to include me in reserve and choose the best day for the most players.

Which is good, because this one is going to be on Saturday, July 25th!

I'll update more thoroughly when I'm out of school today, but I forgot to mention the locked date yesterday :P

Ok peeps, lets try to add at least a little bit of meaningful data to all the complaints of "GK OP." Lets get some GK players, or even whole teams (presuming this isn't 1v1).

Yes Hellstar, this is a 1v1 tournament.

As for Wrex....... what?

You might want to read the OP before posting.

I just read it? I saw nothing which invalidated what I said.

I said " Lets get some GK players, or even whole teams (presuming this isn't 1v1)." That covers all cases. In the case of 1v1, "lets get some GK players" applies. In the case of teams, both "lets get some GK players" and "or even whole teams (presuming this isn't 1v1)" applies. Do I really have to go through all of this for such a simple statement?

Even if players did chose to play GK with the style of this tournement I doubt their opponent would pick to play against them, people like Cyris and crewfinity main GK so you would obviously not allow them to play them, also no one enjoys playing against them.

@Hellstar I quoted you because if you read the OP, you'd see it says 1v1.

Welcome PaperBaG, I'm sure I've seen you on CoH2 .org or soemwhere like that.

Settle down people, no harm was meant.

I'm not at home PaperBaG, but when I do I'll shoot you a friend invite! Look for "Atlas" in there. I'd also recommend everyone else that wants to speak with me about tournament stuff to do the same. Let me know if you have problems with finding me!

Anyway, all of you are updated! If there's any questions, please let me know asap because the tournament is coming up very soon.

As a last note, I won't be announcing the next tournament the day after this tournament as is normal tradition. This is because we haven't quite decided how to proceed with the next one. We'll let you know shortly what we're doing though.

I'll just post the update when I get home.

Do you mind posting who will be streaming, I don't follow everyone and I am only a causal observer. Cheers in advance.

Of course! Streamers normally get announced right after the start of the tournament in a separate announcement. Look out for it!

We are doing streaming a little bit differently this time though. We'll be appointing at least 2 "Primary Casters". Primary Casters will get priority when designating observer slots in the later round games. This is done not only to simplify the viewing experience (ie not being confused as to which of the streams are casting the game) but also to help keep the casters themselves more organized and with a way to settle slot disputes.

At the moment, I've had 3 streamers express interest for being in this tournament to me or through my team. Primary casters themselves will be appointed on the day of the tournament, but I'll have a "pre-tourney selected" list of casters that I'll post here.
