+1 for Necrons.

For a global for them should be like call the boys. But instead "reinforces" the squad to their maximum number, but the units resurrected are automatically at half health or below?

And maybe something the warlock "fleet"global? Since Necrons have a "sluggish" feel in my opinion.

Necrons. Without a doubt. The new codex is awesome, and I would love to see some of that stuff in DoW2. I hope they are the main villain in DoW3.

I hope no, i'm not that guy who spends 30€ + on games :p
And even if DoWIII came out, it would probably end up like retail.

Personally i would like the tau cause with how kroot the way they are, we could have an all ranged army with heavy firepower, i mean even IG have ogryns and catachans, it would be interesting to see an all ranged army

But Indrid, a plasma pistol one shotting a tank is entirely possible in tabletop. Except vs armor rating of 14 (like pred & leman front and land raider all sides)

Pred has 13 front, 11 side, 10 rear and can't be harmed by plasma from the front.
Leman has 14 front, 13 side, 10-11 rear and can only be harmed in the read.

A plasma weapon can only "harm" something that has armor 12.That would be taking of a hull point, that translates in to at least needing to get 3 very lucky shots in.

And can only 1 shot something that is armor 11.
After first hitting it (most common 3+ or 4+ depending on the model),
getting a 6 result afterwards and then a 5+ result on your dice (very very unlikely).

Non of these cases are counting cover either.
That would make it even more impossible.

Just to be precise :p Carry on ^^

there isn't any good way to balance an all ranged army and it would be boring. it would have to do incredible ranged damage to have any chance of kills on retreat and would have to bank on suppression and massive damage to prevent them from being tied up. jump troops would be a pretty hard counter as well.

"Just" give em defensive Grenades, like in the TT to snare/stun enemy melee chargers : P

That and they could do some interesting things with suppression for them, not as OP as the burst cannon from LS, but some different things
