Yeah man it's great.
Anyway thanks to Windu's skills the problem is resolved - the eyes also glow from certain angles for all you fluff fans.

Do people think the darker scales on the armour look better than the colour in the previous pic?

I personally like the darker scales, gives them a bit more definition.
Looking pretty wicked so far!

Only one thing. The cape of the scout.
The flame theme doesn't seems right.
Many TT players paint the cape of the scouts in a brown kind-of-mimetic fashion, and sometime even the clothes.

I think it will make more sense and give some colour to the army.

I know the Librarian is a black human already , but Salamanders are not just black people, their skin is dark as coal. The Force Commander and Scouts had a great work done, I'd recommend trying to make the Librarian look similar. Right now, besides the Force Commander and the Scouts, he looks like a white Salamander.
Also, I recommend his right arm, the one holding the Sword/Staff, to keep the Librarian blue color. Many Librarian models are painted like that and it helps to integrate the blue with the rest of the armour colors.

I have to agree with Chris.
Most scout models I look at for the table top seem to all have some sort of camouflage pattern on their cape. Depending on the environment of their base for the model is what type camo they get.
Not exactly sure what the universal camo would be though.

They also have red eyes.

Their eyes glow red in the dark, and that was already part of the models.

Ah, totally skipped that part, thanks for telling me.

Librarian has a blue arm now - good point there Aertes.

Assualt Marine

Assault Marine Sgt

With regards to scout capes and the librarians skin we might get around to it at some point but there is quite a lot to get through, a lot of which ranks a bit higher in terms of priorities at the moment. By all means we will probably get around to it but it might be as a small addition later on.
EDIT - on an unrelated note, the Catachan elite scheme will have a new demoman model pretty soon

Pretty nice indeed. Is it possible to have the Salamander's eyes red?, background says their eyes are a blood red color, making them look like demons despite they are one of the most altruist space marine chapters.

On an unrelated note, but good news for people who have been longing for Nid things, the Vemon Brood will have a new model which fits with the portrait a bit better and differentiates them from Warriors a little more - thanks to Windu for the venom green re-texture.

Krieg needs a bayonet still

it fits lore pretty well and I still have no idea why the DLC didn't add one to begin with can anyone enlighten me on that one (Im a lore buff kinda a problem)....

The answer is still the same as it was last time you asked: possibly, if I get around to it.
Also from a cursory image search it would seem that Krieg don't use bayonets more than any other guard regiment.

Is the venom brood on left in this picture dripping acid or is it just a bug?

I believe that they do drip acid (I think they always have but I could well be wrong)

More new 'Nids for the Hive Fleet Dagon elite scheme. Models primarily courtesy of Shuma.
Ravener Alpha

Tyrant Guard and Carnifex

EDIT - More Salamanders.
Sternguard will be replaced by Badab War Veterans - bit of an ode to the old Rogue Trader models.

Scout Cloak

Many thanks to Windu for his texture work.

Looking pretty sweet so far, can't wait for them to be implemented.
Loving the purple highlights on the Tyrant Guard and Carnifex btw.

I guess that yellow scheme with black irregular lines is just for the try, I never saw anything like that for Salamanders in any age of warhammer 40.000, and i particularily don't like the look either. The old bolter version is wonderful though.

Nope its the finished article, and is actually the original Salamanders colour scheme from 1989.
As the lore evolved it was changed to be a camo pattern from the Badab war. I've always been rather fond of it so decided to include it.

I like it, breaks up the general monotony of the Space Marines. Good to see some Badab War stuff, best Space Marine conflict since the heresy.

I am loving the Blood Axes DLC. It is pretty much my standard scheme when playing ork these days.
However, would it be possible to add some more IG gubbins to the mek? He looks like the standard mek without the faceplate, which makes me a little sad. How about giving him the IG spotter backpack, a beret, maybe Kasrkin-style armor plates on his legs, or the ammo (?) bags that hang off the sides of regular stormtroopers? Would any of that be possible?

Yeah it probably would and it's a good idea too. Although it's probably something I'll go back to once the current "elite schemes" I'm working on are done.

I'd use those for the sternguard veterans without doubt. i still dont like that old scheme. The look is fantastic.
