Also, exactly how much faster do units regen inside the Land Raider?

Is it possible to add the damage type values for the autocannon_av? I remember you stated the Vanquisher Cannon on the Leman Russ was autocannon_av.

No problem
I'm not actually seeing anything in the files that would suggest this actually happens. I'll keep looking, but it might actually not be intended.

Autocannon_av is the weapon family, and it has the explosive_pvp damage type. Added the family since it wasn't there for some reason. Should be there now.

for example. termies regen super fast inside.
Who started this myth? From what I can tell nothing like that happens.

No nor do I. I think it's just because the actual healing radius on the squads from the LRR is very very small compared to the radius in which it reinforces stuff from (15 vs 40 range). Like, if you want to get your healing buff you have to be nearly hugging the LRR, or, alternatively, being inside it. It definitely does heal them up fast inside the LRR, but it doesn't seem to do so any faster than if they were outside it but hugging it.

a unit of measurement.
you know like 2% of their health, 5hp/s etc.
are you new?

the LRR has an aura that is 15 radius; which is small. it grants 2% of units max hp/s (or more specifically 1% every 0.5 second but eh), 25% damage reduction and immunity to suppression. all of this is in the codex.
but again, its such a small radius and pathing around vehicles is errrr... well.
basically, the whole "if you inside the LRR you heal faster" thing is a myth, its simply the most sure way that the whole squad is in the 15 radius aura. torpid just explained this on this thread a few posts ago.

Not to mention that 15 radius is from the centre of the LRR, not each and every bit of the LRR armour plating. So even if you're only a few feet away from the corner of the LRR you're probably more than 15 (whatever unit DOW uses for the radius) away from the centre of the LRR and thus not getting that buff. This is also likely what causes the pathing issues when trying to embark a LRR. You can only embark it if you are within x radius of the embarking spot which is probably aligned with the centre horizontally but pushed slightly towards the front of the LRR vertically.

So I noticed something.
http://www.dawnofwar.info/elite/weapon.php?wpn=gk_incinerator_terminatorAt the bottom of page of the above link there is a "On hit actions" section. Are you planning to add more effects in e.g knockback type, snare effect or debuff like the sonic blaster effect?
On a more curious (off topic) note, why does the GK Terminartor incinerators "Burn any target for 2 piercing DPS for 5 seconds?"

Probably not soon. Lulgrim added that in manually, and I'd have to go through all of the weapons, and add them all in manually if I wanted to have the stuff there that way. It would be a lot of tedious work to do.

Dunno. It was a balance decision, I'd imagine. Not sure of the reason behind it.

Copied/pasted from tech issues forum:
falcon= infantry?
PostThu Jun 25, 2015 12:42 pm
In the codex, falcon is type: infantry (with vehicle armor) while fire prism is vehicle. Why? Does it make a difference?

You probably already know this, but information on the Inquisitorial Operatives (can't quite recall the name, close enough) is still absent on the Codex... as well as most of the contents of the new patch.

Same with Fire Dragons' new values missing in the Codex. Not an emergency, but something that needs to be looked at.
I have a sneaking suspicion that the Codex might be missing 2.4 stuff in general.

It is. I think I said it somewhere else, but I've had a lot going on. I haven't updated the Codex for 2.4 at all, and looking at the amount of changes I have to make honestly makes my head hurt.

Pie I understand, circle I understand, but how can a point have a radius ( as in the dual shuriken catapult on the wraithlord)? Does it do its damage to all enemies aligned with its target within radius?

Yep, it's a circle around the main target.

Then what's the difference between point and circle? Don't both of them deal splash damage in a circular area around the target?

The given angle for a point and a circle will be the same: 0 to 0. It will only be a point if the radius is 0. Otherwise it's a circle. They're essentially the same thing.

Need some help with that? This sounds like the kind of thing I can do in my off time between classes at university. I can't really play games there

That's because the squad starts with five regular 140 HP models, and one 200 HP squad leader.
