Salamanders are coming out as the most clever of all the Elite Skins.

Very well done.

Just a fix for something that's been bugging a few people. GK Rhino gunner now has the correct armour.

EDIT - Plus Salamanders Terminator - pretty simple but there's not an awful lot you can do with termies.

Can you do the right leg of the terminator with the Alpha Marines leg, like the Force commander?
I think is very thematic.

Image

If you need some ideas and you want to go the extra mile, you can be inspire by the Pre-heresy marines/Firedrakes. They have usually reptilian skin on the right shoulder and as a loin cloth, or even the skull of the drake.

Right, that's the pack done and ready for inclusion in the mod - going to work on some tweaks and improvements for Legion of the Damned and Heresy Era models for all of the Luna Wolves marines so there aren't any modern ones mixed in with the old.

Yep, once Emperor's Children are released then Chaos are pretty much done. I think all the traitor legions is enough to choose from.

Astral Claws are not Chaos. How dare you think of the Red Corsairs, they are by far inferior to the Astral Claws.

Lugft Huron, the one in your picture, appear to had a little paint job on his armor. XD

Jokes apart, they are a cool and fluffy chapter, i wouldn't mind have them, but yes, they all died or fall to chaos 5 thousand years ago.

Not really minor ones (Huron is the second most powerful Chaos Lord, after Abaddon itself, and the Badab War is all on their shoulders), but I agree.

Yeah, should have re-phrased that, basically the plan was to just focus on the original legions.

For Slaanesh, i was wrong!
You are right. For some reason i remembered their creation date as their end.

Just some quick LotD changes - the current scheme really over uses the Chaplain skull head so just mixed a few things around for variety.

I know there was a helmet-less model, but I disagree with anything that means a Damn Leginary without helmet. it crushes teir legend as misterious phantom marines that appear from nowhere and go back there once they have given their needed help.

I think it looks good on them, a really withered face that speaks of ancient doom but also mysterious secrets whilst looking tough, though we all know that the Legion of the Damned are Fire Hawks, so that isn't very secret.

I agree with both.
The skull-helmet where overused but no helmet take away something from the Legion style (even if i saw a miniature that was just like that).
I suggest a middleway.

Image
Pretty much like it is now (i like the rib cage on the shoulder and the skull on the knee. Nice touch) but adding the mask similar to the one of Cultists or Scouts.
Maybe only the mouth piece, not the head part.
It will look awesome, i'm sure.

Good job on the Sergeant and Assaul Marines.

That picture is a good model. some flaming effects on or around their feet would also be a good point, and I don't mean flames painted on their boots, I mean true flaming fire effect from their shoes.

Yeah, not sure how to make that happen. Maybe someone does? It might even need a new effect altogether, which isn't something I can do.

I wonder how the Mordians will look. Any progress on those?

Orkfaeller I think was working on the mordians but seems to have disappeared... they might turn up at some point.

As for the next patch models wise you can expect the following...

Salamanders scheme
Hive Fleet Dagon scheme
Improved Legion of the Damned scheme
Improved Heresy Era scheme
New Sternguard
New Marked CSM
New Venom Brood
Improved Ulthwe Guardian

and probably a few other minor bits and pieces I can't remember right now.

Patch after that will *fingers crossed* contain Harlequin, Exodite and Siam-Hann Eldar schemes.

...and I imagine (speculation/wishful thinking here) the patch after might be 4th Commanders - Slaaneshi Lord and Emperors Children scheme, Lord Inquisitor with the new acolyte models I made a while back and so on.

PC is broke at the minute but when its fixed will get a few pictures up.

Campaign is full of weapons with fiery effects, specifically a power axe called "of fire and blood" or something similar, that has a flame around its blade. There are also Terminator hammers and powerfists with such effectes in the normal DoW II campaign, in case you can use them
