Hmm, never had a go at adding in fx before, might well come back to it when I've got a bit more time.
The jaw is just one of the existing "iron gob" models edited in 3dsmax to not be as big and spiky.

Lol I've did the Flash Gitz portrait similar to the model's new head and I haven't even checked it beforehand XD Talk about perfect coincidence :3
*thumbs up + highfive*

Yeah I know haha, noticed that too - am trying to base the new models on the portraits so have been studying your other ones and trying to find the best bits to match.
Tonight's work has been more IG models - came up with this for a Catachan General, there's a tiny bit of warping around the hands due to the model mix, but it's barely noticeable, especially ingame.

Whow, manly. Where is the head from?
I have to wonder though, how much sense makes this guy's coat here^^
I mean, where are his sleves^^ And does he only have one these ugh, "coat flaps"?
That said, great work sofar love the idea to go for a chainsword.
Any plans to give him a beret?
Really hope you get a Catachan pack together.
Edit:
Thinking about it, I think its ironic that you de-bioniced him, when I'd expected you to go the exact oposite direction

Yeah was thinking about removing it but I think its something that helps the unit stand out as a commander from a distance.
The head is from uncle anaesthesias latest bits and bobs. Variety is the spice of life and all that, the others have bionics so went for a change.

Lulgrim wrote:Yes.
Before I start - do the heads/bodies need to be seperate? I know for Chaos the DLC marines are all one model but what about for SM? Just trying to make it so there's no need for any faffing around on your end - I'll structure them as I have the gitz model so you can just copy paste the structure in and then do what needs doing in Copes.
As for now - first post updated, new GK librarian helm and a mini-pack of heresy era marine armour.

Enjoy!

Depends on whether parts are intended to change (rank unlocks, upgrades etc.) or not.

It is usually always best to keep the heads separate, in case you want to mix up a unit's look, or like give the sergeant another helmet without wanting to do a complete new armor for it.

Aye, just checking as in the CSM dlc's the new models are all one file, whereas the SM models are split between armour and heads etc.
Anyway the final Bloodaxes are finished, just waiting for the camo textures now.
Made use of some of Shuma and SargeX's creations.

Started work on some Deathskulls too...

Cheers guys.
It will all get released at some point - probably as DLC packs for Elite - it's just packing everything up for release is the boring part.
Anyhow, bored with Orks - finished the other two Catachan heroes - using Muertz teamcolourable skins and a new head for the Inquisitor.

Isn't that head for the inquistior .... abit small?

It's tiny bit smaller than the original head - here it's just the angle and the fact half of it is obscured by the neckguard.

The head really is too small;^^
I remember reading about the same problem a few years ago;
Back, when people tried to make female guards(wo)men
edith:
i dont know why, but in the model viewer they lock fine, only in the game they are a lite bit smaller

I actually had the same problem when making both banshee and reaper heads. So it took a few attempts to make it the right size. Nothing difficult really, just takes quite a long time to restart the game every time.

Mainly for Lulgrim - first post is updated with the Space Marine DLC packs.
Also included a Venerable Dread for the Legion of the Damned DLC courtesy of Hadrun.

Got some new models incoming courtesy of Uncle_Anaesthesia...
Daemonette - no real room for it in the mod but nice to have a model - works well with the Banshee animations.

Vostroyan Stormtrooper - still some texture and animation issues need to be worked out - should get this done at the weekend

Catachan Spotter

Catachan HWT

Pretty basic and just a slight change of models for these two.

Whuw, fancy stuff;
That spotter textures I think would be great on Kasrkin; they seem to have that very pattern in the TT/Background.
As someone who collects Vostroyans; I cant wait to get my hands on that model.
Regarding the deamonettes; does anyone know if its possible to have different DLC skins use different animation skelletons for the same unit? ( replacement for Bloodletters )

Had a spare moment so re-worked Hadrun's old Nightlords pack so it doesn't just use retextured Wordbearers armour anymore.
Used some WoA armours and Shuma's helmets that have been lurking around for a while.
Lord

Sorcerer

Marine

Aspiring Champ

Havoc

Waiting on a new model from Uncle_Anaesthesia and then will be able to get some Traitor Guard as a model swap for the standard Heretics.

Great work!
some question How to install "Heresy Era Mini-Pack - does not require DLC"?
