i know this may be nitpicking but would it be possible to see more 1v1 maps? Playing the same maps over and over tends to get a little boring. Calderis, Green Tooth Gorge, and Leviathan Hive seem to be the only one's people play. Fedrid Folly was an excellent map and i wouldn't mind even seeing some remakes of Calderis Refinery. But more maps is good in general, and 3v3's are always a blast!

Jarilo's Forge is being added in 2.2, which is an excellent 1v1 map.
Max and I are the only ones working on maps at the moment I think, and neiither of us are 1v1 players. Not all that appealing to spend many, many hours building something that you won't use yourself. The aim to to build maps that will scale from 1v1 up to 3v3 as Max is attempting now (like Calderis Refinery), but it's quite a difficult thing to do convincingly without just copying Calderis' "star" layout. Nothing wrong with that though, it's a good basis for a layout.

okay guys, thx 4 the feedback and stuff.
As a small present I give u Valhalla Oilfield Version 1.5 (just changed the minimaps [the ones u see while loading and the map selection mini mini map]) - to keep the minimap look in line with the relic maps and well the other maps I've made.

Due to some feedback I ve changed the light intensity on Valhalla Oilfield and i also added some more splines => Version 1.6
-> Download link for Valhalla Oilfield Version 1.6<- I've also made an update to Argent Shelf Redux because Indrid wanted it. All I did was to replace the shot block ruin with something that also shot blocks but now everyone can see that they cant shot through that new object.
I wont post that link here, but ill send it to Lulgrim so he might add it in time.

hey, um, im not to sure where to put this exactly, but a lot of the maps that get loaded up whenever i play have black glitchy textures everywhere, and occasionally, there is a buzzy bright white overlaid on top of certain areas. Does anyone here have any idea of what has gone wrong?

Could it be that something is wrong with ur graphics card?

yes, ive suspected that, i researched that it is one of two options, my manually overclocked card is screwing something over, or DOW2 really hates driver forced settings.

do you take requests max power. I love Tiber Outpost but in all reality its a pretty big map. I was wondering if you could perhaps make a version in which the retreat and just the map in general isnt so huge. I love the 3 diff settings bottom middle and top for varied attacks and flanking possibilities.

the problem seems most bad on tartarus harbour for some reason, on the other maps, i only get texture disfiguration if the camera goes to a certain point (nearly off map)

I kinda do take requests, the problem right now is that im a. already working on a new map which will be called "meridian high city" and it might take like maybe 1 month maybe even longer to finish that map, and b. im off to Italy in about 1 1/2 week spending some qualitiy time there.
So, yeah I could and prolly will work on that map request of yours eventually, but it might take some time.

Update: the problem seems to be resolved. At current investigation, the issue seems to be the beta 326 driver from Nvidia. i forced it back to 320, and everything is now fine and dandy.

About Valhalla Oildfield, we played a 3v3 where at one point everyone crashed getting the Relic crash report, not 100% sure what it was but that happened when i had my battlewagon rolling on alot of units during a big fight in the middle.

Ah, eh, yes...I have no clue, you know it could have been the map, could have been the fact that u are playing a beta.
I mean yes, its bad that it happend, but what should I change? I don't know what caused the crash, but I doubt that it was the map.
Well u could try and recreate the incidence, if it crashes again, come back to me and give me some feedback.

Didn't had tjat much time to work on the map, but I just wanted to show u the base area of player 1, tell me if u like it, if u would change something.
And again, if someone finds a bug or some imbalances with any of my maps let me know, and pls be constructive. Also remember that I don't have all day to work on the maps so if something might be to time consuming it prolly wont happen. Something like "remove all the walls in the mine area on Garzweiler mine", yeah thats prolly not gonna happen.

K, thx, updated the map, i.e. removed those old remnants from argent shelf. Also fixed some splats that looked kinda low res.

-> Download link for Meridian High City Version 1.2<- BackgroundNo Background this time, it's afterall just a city spire.
Layout Nearly like "Calderis Refinery", but with the looks (i.e. tile sets, splats and splines) of "Capital Spire"
DesignThe map is a cross between the "Calderis Refinery" layout and the overall look of "Captial Spire" (one of my favorite maps from DoW 2. The Idea behind this particular map was to be able to create basically a 3on3 map that can be changed to a 2on2 map fairly easily, much like all the Calderis Refinery iterations.
I'll make said 2on2 version coming next week, which means that it should take make about 1 - 2 weeks to finish that version and afterwards I'll make yet another 3on3 Map in the vein of "Judgment of Carrion".
Changelog/History
1.0- release of version 1.0 of Meridian High City
1.1- fixed some weird pathing issues
- removed 1 requisition point that wasnt part of the map
1.2- fixed an oversight on my end where players could move units into certain areas and get stuck there
