There used to be a bug regarding the WL BL meaning it couldn't deal damage to transports with units inside them, like, whatsoever, it wouldn't hit and when it did it would do tiny amounts of damage. Not sure if that's fixed or not.

Not sure if it happens to vehicles that aren't transports, but I do remember my multi melta doing no damage to milty's chimera.


also happens with falcon AV wep, old, very old bug.

possibly related to burst weapons and aoe, possible because those weapons are set to hit occupants.

Now that the LA has been toned down bit I guess it can't hurt to give him his proper size.

Not sure if this is the proper place for this, but my friend and I have been having problems playing a match together.

When we try to invite one another we get the "you do not have compatible mods" despite having both installed the mod properly and having the numbers on the main menu screen match up.

Is this because we're not doing a public match or something else?

beta 10 then 11 of 2.2

if it still doesn't work try making a lobby and joining without inviting. not really sure why it wouldn't work though.

Try to delete your ELITE folder

( steam/steamapps/common/dow2- retribution/ ELITE-beta )

and reinstal.

You'll need both beta 10 and 11 ( in that order )

My "full" installers delete it anyway (as long as you make sure the path is detected correctly).

Ive "met" several people by now who had problems even after several installation attempts and only got it to work after removing the ELITE stuff by hand first.

Doesn't make sense though, even leftover files from past versions shouldn't affect the mod... They would be either overwritten or unused.

The data integrity check will include all mod files in the elite_beta folder even if unused. So having any leftovers from an old patch will result it a different signature and thus a version mismatch when trying to join lobbies/play replays. I'm not sure how it happens (never had this problem) as the installer should delete old files but in case it doesn't the safest way is to delete the elite_beta folder before installing a new full release.

Used him to great effect yesterday and I feel he certainly doesn't need that.. Is he even small anyway?

It was my educated guess to what defines the ingame model size for pathing, etc.
My apologies if that isn't the case.

The Lictor Alpha is small like any normal commander yet doesn't fit in multiple parts of maps and can get locked down fairly easy by his own units due to this wrong size.

The Kommando Nob used to have similar issues and his size got changed.
What change was performed there then?

I'm not sure what was done to KN, can't find it in changelog. But I doubt a MELEE size setting affects pathing. More like its box is oversized because of the funny arms etc.

The Imperial Guard Banewolf doesn't gain increased maximum energy when it levels up.

Torpid's was level three and it still had 100 energy.

That's how it is in Cope's box. Not sure if it is intended, but the energy regen increases with level, so I imagine it's fine.

Hi guys I need some help. After installing 11, all of the units that received graphical changes show up as black boxes, yet the game still runs fine and everything! It's only the units receiving the changes such as the inquisitorial stormtroopers, flash gitz and such. Can somebody help me? As far as I know I installed it correctly, maybe the installer didn't overwrite all of the previous files or something? Thanks in advance!:)

Black Boxes usually mean that the models are missing. Hmm.

Check in the main menu / title screen of the game, in the upper left, if youre really on ß11.

Did you have any version of ELITE installed before this one?

Is your game/steam installed on the C: drive?

Have you tried to just reinstall ELITE? ( if not, try removing ELITE first by hand,
steam/steamapps/common/dow2 - retribution/ELITE(-Beta) )

My guess is that you installed either ß10 or ß11 somewhere wrong accidently / or the installer messed up.

Can we please get an update on why the GK interceptor's melta bomb still causes the squad to freeze in place, do nothing and refuse to listen to any commands, thereby often getting themselves killed or something else of mine killed or allowing an enemy vehicle to escape unnecessarily.

The amount of times this bug has made me lose a game is really beyond a joke.
