i have all the original animations in game already, as always its the motiontree and how it plays the animations. the melee stuff is smooth, but idle has only has 2 anims which are totally different and looks crap when switching between them. the flying parts a pain as well as im using a modified bloodletter motiontree with assault marine jump added.

Out of curiosity, how DOW1's animations compare to DOW2's? could they be used or they look too stiff?

The animations run exactly as they do in DOW, some of the synch kill stuff is brilliant, but its always the motiontree thats the issue.
you replace your anim in the specific mtree slot and u think all is good but when it plays theres issues like glitching and freezing animations.
the dreadnought is a good example as it freezes when when attacking and looks shit, but i havent spent a lot of time on the motiontree for a while to be honest so hopefully in the next few weeks ill have a better understanding. it may just be the limitation of santos tools as he stated that there was plenty of stuff that he didnt have a good understanding of at the time of release, for all i know he may have a newer version that has none of the issues of the latest one. guess we'll never know until he appears again.

Actually he used to answer PMs on RN, so it might be worth a shot to try and contact him there. That's how i got the speechmanager tool tuned for DOW2 (Even more thanks and hats off to him!)

Striking Scorpions for the eldar would be sweet! Some infiltrate melee squads besides banshees is just what the eldar need.
