We are having a 1 v 1 tourney for new players \o/
Depending on number of participants we might have "begginer" and "initiate" brackets, it will be figured out as I receive submissions to participate

ESL Reporter is required to be turned on for the entire duration of the tourney
https://dawnofwar.info/ <---- Download the ESL from this site, it's nicely centered on Eldar's face

BRACKETS!!!!

Beginners
https://challonge.com/pl/mq74qkbv

Initiates
https://challonge.com/pl/zwa3zb6u

1) WHEN?
3rd September 17 CEST
https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ ... 15&p1=1440

2)How to join?
Just write a comment here, would appreciate steam account link/info on your hours. Also you can @Mickey me on discord.
I'd appreciate if you also specified which division YOU think YOU belong to, it will definitely be helpful.
Let's try to keep it to new players, I don't want to limit people by hour amount and such, so hopefully you don't try to crash the party hm?
Joining is closed on 31st August 24:00 CEST(Or September 1st 00:00 CEST)

3)Format of play
-Tourney will be played on 2.9.9.1 version of Elite Mod
-Format of games: 1v1, 500 VP, standard resources, random starting position.
-Format of the ladder is double elimination
-Winner bracket matches are bo3 while the final is bo5
-All matches in loser bracket are bo1
-Winner bracket finalist gets 1 game advantage, so the final will be started with 1-0 score
-Order of actions is Coin toss->Map Pick->Hero picks

4)Map Pool
Ashes of Typhon;
Ashes of Typhon Redux;
Calderis Jungle;
Calderis Desert;
Calderis Refinery;
Fedrid Folly;
Green Tooth Gorge;
Green Tooth Jungle Redux Fixed;
Jarilos Forge;
Leviathan Hive;
Lugganath Glacier;
Pale Tooth Gorge;
Quests Heresy;
Selenon Island;
Seraph Palace;
Siwal Frontier;
Solstice Plateau;

5)Map Picks
-First map in each round is decided by organizer(me) each subsequent map is decided by the player who has lost the previous game
-Players may veto any map once per match. Once the map is veto'd it can't be chosen again for the entirety of the match
-You CAN'T veto a map set by tourney organizer

6)Hero Picks
-Upper bracket player tosses a coin each game. Heads means upper bracket player choses first, tails mean lower bracket player choses first.
-Any hero a player wins with is locked till the end of the match. So,as an example, if you win with Chaos Lord then you can't use him again in the match, but if you lose with him you may use Chaos Lord again
-Player may choose to go random, but is required to write what race they have gotten in the first 15 seconds of the game.Both full names of the races and abbreviations are accepted
example: Space Marines,SM,OM,IG,Eldar,Orks,Nids,Tyranids are all equally viable terms

7)Disconnections/Soundbugs
-If the Disconnection(for any reason) happens in first 90 seconds of a match game is remade
-Any game with Disconnect after 90 seconds will be remade if
a)If the offendee agrees on a rematch.
b)If the offender had a big advantage(will be decided by me)
If the offendee had advantage and doesn't agree on a rematch they get a win by default(!!!)

8)Forbidden stuff
-Any bug where you can refund ability cost/cooldown by moving
-And kind of macros
-Any map zoom hacks
-Smurfing(if you are found smurfing in any of my tourneys you will be banned from any I may organise in the future)

9)Prize Pool
Initiates:

1st place:35 Euro 5 dollars
2nd place:15 Euro 5 dollars

Beginners:

1st place:25 Euro
2nd place:10 Euro
(might be slight deviation, since my paypal isn't in Euro)

10)Streaming
Players aren't required to provide observer slots and may kick and people they want from the lobby.
Anyone may stream the tourney without contacting me beforehand, some kind of delay is appreciated but not required, if player requests a stream delay then streamer must add delay to their stream.
