Hey folks!

It is time to oficially announce the big tournament, aka Elite Mod Championship, that will take place on 27th and 28th of September!
(See the countdown timer here!!)

Participants:

• »Top 16 players from the MRT Ladder
  
• »Top 8 players from direct qualifier, that will be played over first 2 weeks of september
  (announcement coming after august's MRT).
  
• »The list of participants will be posted at the bottom of this thread, after MRT's and the direct qualifier tournament is finished.

The general idea behind the tournament can be found in THIS THREAD.
Rules of the Elite Mod Championship are explained IN THE RULES PAGE.

Prize pool:
Like stated in the concept thread, this is going to be a crowd-funded tournament.
Here I'll explain how you can donate any amount you like to the prize pool:

Option 1 - paypal

• »Donate money via paypal, send them to this account: awis214@gmail.com
• »In the note, please mention your nickname and the amount you're donating (in order for me to make a registery of donators, which will be posted in this thread). In case you'd like to stay anonymous, please state something like: Anonymous, 5 euro.

Option 2 - different arrangement

• »If you cannot or don't want to use paypal, contact me personally via steam or e-mail wisekw@gmail.com

Prize payout structure:
The payout structure will be decided 2 weeks prior to the tournament start. Ideally every player to pass the group stage will receive something, the prizes will go up gradually the better place the player takes.

Tournament structure:
Day 1 - groups

• »The group stage will consist of bo3 matches, between participants in each of their respective group. Top 2 players will advance to the bracket stage on day 2. Further explanation of how the group stage works can be found in THE RULES PAGE

Day 2 - bracket

• »The bracket games will be played in the bo3 format until the final and 3rd place decider matches, that will be bo5. Further explanation of how the bracket stage works can be found in THE RULES PAGE

(that's assuming there will be no more donations)

Congratulations for the winners and cheers for the participants for good chunk of entertainment, even though I missed the huge part of it because of the @#$@#% work Gonna watch them replays...

So, where are the best places to watch the games you missed now?^^

You can watch the recordings of the live streams on the Twitch accounts or you can wait for the MRT's YT Channel to upload them.

I had a really awesome weekend with the Elite Mod Championship, even though it distracted me a lot from a lot of work I needed to get done. Shoutouts!

Eerie: I've already told him, but I don't know if as many other people realize what an amazing service he's done for the community for the past year. As a tournament organizer, he probably takes a step back from playing a bit, but what he does contributes to the greater good of the community.

Red Rupee: So glad he's come back to stream! Especially since it's not really practical or desirable for me to stream.

HolyHammer: "Get rekt" lol. He might be easy to hate for many other people, but when it comes to tournaments, I think he's the most exciting person to have around. He's just such a monster. My only complaint is that I want him to play the Warboss again, so that he can once again be The Warboss of Dawn of War II.

I thanked Eerie right after the tournament for his hard work and I think he deserves more attention from more people.

Wow I just watched Adila's games against Crazyman (here) and they were awesome.
