1v1 FACTION WAAAGHH! Season 3 Resurrection by Erection

The time has come again boyz, with a new balance head to blame for everything and more things to exploit, and with Ordo Malleus now a fully fledged faction with new dance moves added and extra flash. It's time to scrub off the rust, prep your shitposting and get sweaty cause we need to find out which faction is the best in 1v1s again. Last boogaloo ended in Cry smashing everybody with Space Elfs so naturally they got buffed. Amazing. Note all complains now go to Inekura (#godspeedINE). So it’s time to find out if Elves are not balanced enough and need another buff in good ol’ Faction wars!
1. When does it start?
2024/05/11 for Group stage
2024/06/01 for Playoffs
3 weeks to do your group stage, last time that was enough. June 1st is go time for Playoffs!
2. Who can join?
Tier 1 Players only in Division A (that includes the top dogs of div b from last tournament).
Tier 2 Players with at least 550 Hours Playtime in Division B (show those non-standard builds boyz and make div a cringe!).
3. What is the format?
1) 1v1 Location: Random Resources: standard VPS: 500
2) In the group stage it is going to be one BO3 vs each player for both Div A and Div B. The group stage will last for 3 weeks, plenty of time if you don’t put off all your games to the last week.
3) NO if you fail to play your games until 2024/06/01 you are disqualified!
4) After that bottom players drop out, the Top 5 players advance to the Playoffs (same for both div A and div B) Finals will be BO5 with Hero elimination (more info in rules.)
4. The Rulez:
1) One faction from start to finish, you name your faction and stick with it to the finals win or lose, your faction shall be locked in on 2024/05/10 so do all your faction switches until then. On 2024/05/10 evening I will do a wheel of doom stream for the seeding of the groups.
2) ONE HERO PER MATCH (ONE GAME IN A SINGLE MAP I HAVE NO IDEA HOW ELSE TO CLARIFY IT), EVEN IF YOU LOSE WITH HIM!
3) In the finals which will be BO5 there will be hero elimination rules. If you win with that hero you cannot use him again. If you lose you can still use him simple as.
4) Each player gets a veto for a map, if you veto a map it stays vetoed for the whole BO3 or BO5 in the finals.
5) Maps will be picked by the dreaded rollmap-channel by typing !tensoroll, also the same map cannot be played twice, if you roll it again reroll.
6) Use the ESL Reporter, and send a message on who won to me via discord.
7) In case of a SB, replay the match with the same map and heroes. If there is a disagreement, send replay to me, I will be the arbiter.
8) There is a fix called Smol fix in moddb that helps with sb. It's still debatable if it's a 100% fix but better then nothing.
9) Also get the Shoota Fix in discord pinned messages (FuFuHunters google drive link).

6. Punishment for not playing/delaying too much or being a twat.
SHAME! also disqualified.
Shitposting is only allowed in hero picking faze, in-match we keep it civil, we are Elite players not retail schmucks.
Usually there are problems that people are not on at the same time so USE THE DAMN DISCORD CHANNEL to find your opponents and schedule the time to play.

8. How to Sign up ?
Write down your name + steam profile link below with your faction + The Division you think you belong in. Note I will decide if you do belong there (no Skysilver you won’t play in div b even if it is your eldar).

Q: Why can't I see other people or the player I have to play in the lobby?
A: Did you get the Shoota Fix applied??
Q: Is the Shoota Fix necessary if playing other factions?
A: No, this applies only if Orks are involved so they don't get a major disadvantage.
Q: What patch is this gonna be played on?
A: The latest.
Q: Will Bestie show up?
A: Probably not, he is officially retired now.

Q: Can I lie when picking heroes and bamboozle them?
A: Go nuts, you only must pick the faction and change heroes every match unless it's the finals.
Q: Is random faction allowed?
A: Random is not a faction so no.
Q: Does it matter when I veto the map?
A: No you can veto whenever you feel like, only one veto per player.
