I remember Kaldoot getting really mad about this once. He had a falcon barely limping away after a chase by a Powerfist Force Commander only to lose in the middle of no where to those silly barrels. I think we just need to accept that the barrels are the most powerful source of av in the game.

Usually I only notice the exploding barrels when I'm trying to put something in cover near one and I accidentally order them to shoot at it. Someday, someone will kill an opponent's unit with an exploding barrel and it will be glorious.

Now, some do damage and some don't :/ I'd rather have them all do no damage.

Apparently there are 2 different 'group of 3 barrels' models, and one of them does no damage. The ones that do deal 15 explosive damage. Imba, yo. Though I sort of want it to stay just to see stuff like this happen

But barrels can't cap, so it's fine.

Eh. I think I'm done with the nostalgia though. The game was effin' terrible once you're out of clueless scrub territory. Was sometimes fun otherwise though.
