Back from the hospital

Hey all, just wanted to give you guys abit of heads-up. Today at roughly 4 in my time, I had abit of a panick-attack and had trouble with what I thought was my heart. This is not a first-case scenario, and it's actually been abit of a 2 weeks issue, but today was the worse of them all. I literally had agonizing pain my my heart-zone and felt like I was going to die.

So I ended up at the hospital from my causes, and it was really bad whilst I was driving there, which was a questionable decision. But nevertheless, after about 8 hours of scans, blood test, urine shit and whatnot- I got the verdict that I'm fine. However, they did mention something which I don't really know how to appropiately translate.

What really it comes down to is, emotional swings. I can go from laughing over absolute nothing to just pouring down the rain for no reason. Either way, I'm still going to get that looked, whatever that's causing it. But I figured I'd give some peoples heads-up over my more recent and potential inactivitiy.

Caeltos, I think that heart strain might be a little related to that huge post of changes for the next channelog and my only probably guess...Influence from the many many people suggesting what and what not to do, and trying not to fail them all. I mean you have a life, and a job then you still come back here to work some more and live life as well, almost like your living 2 separate lives together at the same time.

All I can say is that... if you need a break to make sure your healthy, nobody should be complaining because you do so much as it is. And it really shows that your always thoughtful about the community just by giving everyone the heads up.

Go take a vacation or something pretty sure that'll do it for yu, and if it has nothing to do with stress overload or anything along those lines, we're still here with yu bud, do whatchu gotta do to make sure your takin care of yourself :D

Well I'm glad to see that it isn't more serious. Oddly, I've had very similar symptoms. I remember one night I couldn't sleep half the night because I was in such pain in the area around my heart I couldn't relax. It didn't feel like my heart was tightening, it was.... I don't really know how to describe it but kind of like one of my ribs would poke the bottom of my heart or something. Obviously that wasn't it but I had those kinds of things from time to time.

I just sort of walked it off and haven't had anything like that ever since then in fact. That happened about 6 months ago? I'm hoping it just goes away for you like it did for me.In the meantime, just get some rest.

Did, forget about elite if your not good, we all appreciate what you have done.

Like others I suffered from a bad viral infection last year and at times couldn't get out of best.

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is admit your ill and take a break to recover. Good luck and hope everything is better soon

Yeah give yourself a break and drink less energy drinks such as Red Bull (basically drinks with a high caffeine concentration). Hope you recover soon.

This is going to sound dumb, but I had a similar thing a few years ago (was having some difficult relationship problems with my girlfriend (now ex-girlfriend)) and what I thought at the time was just heartache turned into something like you just described. Here's the dumb part; I learned how to meditate, and because of this I found inner and, for me at least) fixed my condition. If you want to try here the quick and simple guide:

1. Find a quiet place, your bedroom should do fine.

2. Sit down on a comfortable surface and cross your legs so that you are perfectly stable.

3. Put your thumb and index finger together and rest them on your knees (This one is optional, I just learned it this way)

4. Close your eyes and focus on your breathing.

Continue until you are perfectly calm (For me 10-15 minutes is plenty).

Let me try to lighten to mood in this thread.

When I was 7, I underwent an operation in the Hospital because my body fluids were going to the wrong area resulting in a swollen bell. My twin bells were swollen. It was hard to sit. They operated on my package.

According to the Hospital Staff, it was a common thing among man... I don't hear any of my male peers talking about it... Then again, who would talk about it face-to-face :p

Delightful as ever, Discreet

Sounds like Oedema, overflowing tissue fluid leaking from the capillaries due to a lack of lymph to control the tissue fluid distribution. The leaking fluid does tend to hang out in those areas. :?

Get well Caeltos!

Oh it is nothing, just leaky capillaries is all you need to know. They probably fixed you up by boosting your lymph glands to remove excess tissue fluid. Discreet I have seen horrible pictures of swolen... ends in my Biology class. Properly swolen, a foot wide.

Discreet's "situation" sounded a lot more like Slaaneshi gift than Nurgle gift. At least judging by the general area of the "gift".

Anyway I hope you get well ASAP Cael.

Hey Caeltos, take care mate. I've been hospitalised for depression in the past, its a shit thing to go through. Give yourself some breathing space, forget about Elite for a while, tackle the important stuff in life one small task at a time and factor in some time to enjoy yourself each day.

Could be anxiety and depression mixed in. It's hard to know unless you see a specialist who can help you. In the mean time, you have a community here in DOW that care. Good luck Cealtos, you are an inspiration to many.

We all have our own Stress ,just don't strain yourself too much. Thinking too much will lead to Depression . Take your mind off to something else :d . Let the team handle it 1st , you deserve a break Caeltos.

Sorry to hear that. The pain was perhaps unbearable. You may be having a heart attack which usually shows symptoms of severe chest pain extending to the left arm. This is an emergency case prompting immediate intervention.

My advise is to eat healthy foods, exercise at least 30 minutes daily and learn relaxation techniques.

Those pains are called Angina, and it isn't likely Caeltos had a heart attack (I assume he is young and vigorous(or as close as it gets)).

No, I had go through some scanning, urine test, EKB or whatever for checking the heart, as well as some regular-basic check-ups to make sure I was fine. Seemed like the only diagnosis I got was that I was healthy, but had high pressure when I got into the hospital, probably due to my panick attack.

Caused by anxiety and depression. My body is sending me false signals and false-symptons which aren't nothing to worry about, it's more of a uhm, mental break down to some degree. Appearantly one of my cousins had the a similiar thing happend to him not long ago, and it's appearantly quite common.

Very unpleasant tho, and will need to go see a "therapist" to go through the whole turbelance. I can get some of those akward symptons if I just think of things, or get reminded of the past. So I'm sensitive to words I guess, it's quite troubling since it really makes my mood abit bumpy and akward. :|
