Why Phobus no re-inforce?

Aren't all land-raiders supposed to?

It's Phobos btw ;)

Because of balance reasons.
No, not all land raiders are supposed to reinforce. It's not a bug if that's what you mean.

Yeah. Phobos is more like Predator's steroid using big brother than a mobile base.

I personally think of it as two Tzeentch Preds tied together.

Think of the Phobos as a 2000HP, slow moving, Las Cannon Addicted, Weapon Platform that enjoys 1 shotting infantry models and suppressing them at close range

Phobos = Giant D cannon that kills other tanks. It's not a giant falcon.

I like to think is a Possessed Vehicle, like in Table Top, so it tend to eat people, and it is rappresented by not being able to reinforce.

The alternative was a Plaguereaper, but i think it will be too much Nurgle in Tier 3.

I like to think that it is because the Chaos faction doesn't give enough of a damn about their units to care about reinforcing their squads, hence the utter lack of mobile reinforcing points; they are literally the only faction who does not have a transport.

It seems to be pretty good vs infantry too. Is it possible, that the little Aoe on the lascannons on phobos is bigger than on the lascannons on other units?

The lascannons have splash and the splash can proc on each shot (it shoots once per gun so really it splashes twice but at lower damage each time). That's what makes it like a d-cannon (an artillery unit) and not a AV set-up team.

Don't know about the splash radius of each though compared to lascannon's on predators and such.
