So, now that is confirmed that the Doom of Malan'tai is back and that his name is beign changed to Neurothrope, will the Mod conform?
Neurothrope is a flat out better name; more generic and thematic.

Ah yes that would make sense. It seemed odd to have the DOM as just one rare badass zoanthrope... I know they did try to justify lore-wise but it was a shame and they needn't have made it exclusive. Good to hear they're making it into something more generic. Probably should go with that.

I agree with the name change. It didn't make much sense to have that one zoanthrope that ate a craftworld show up everywhere. Generic name fits better.

I'm down. Off the top of my head there's few other similar changes if possible:
Carnifex Venom Cannon -> Heavy Venom Cannon
Carnifex Barbed Strangler -> Stranglethorn Cannon
I'm sure people more in touch with tabletop can offer further name updates.

That is indeed correct, since 5th edition Carnifex's wielded Stranglethorn cannons and not Barbed Strangers, also Heretics should be Cultists but I don't care that they have the name Heretic.

Speaking of changing the Doom of Malan'tai name can you change the upkeep as well. In it's current state it is similar to an ordinary Zoanthrope.

Neurothrope is the name of the new zoanthrope leader for the boardgame, not an invention for Elite.
In the boardgame, the Doom dissapeared and the zonatrhopes were reworked to inclued "leader zoanthropes". The change in the game is accurate nevertheless.

If we're talking about name changes, we might as well add things like Heretics into Cultists and etc etc.

This is probably going to keep getting more confusing, the name Stormtroopers is a very simple name that everyoen recognises and Kasrkin to Grenadiers, well I don't see why because they are actually Kasrkin, not Grenadiers even if non Cadian regiments do have grenadiers, they are still Kasrkin.

Change Battlewagon into Battlefortress, because that is plainly a Battlefortress. If anyone does not know what I mean, a Battlefortress to a Battlewagon is what a Baneblade is to a Leman Russ.

Sneakily change the Force Commander to Face Commander and see how long it takes for people to notice.
