Improved Search Function on the Forum

Pretty self-explanatory really but the search function on this forum is absolutely dreadful. Fairly uncommon words like "charge" are just ignored entirely because they're "too common", what is this shit? So are hero names... It's impossible to search for anything with the damn thing. Let us use any words we want to, why can it not be like a google search? Is this possible to change? I would greatly greatly appreciate it.

Just saying this is probably a website issue and should be moved there. I rarely search anything so I'm leaving the appeal to you.

You're right. I kinda thought it was just for announcement, but yeah, the subtitle says all website stuff.

I would use google with the "site" keyword then, just add "site:dawnofwar.info" to the query. If you're using chrome, you can add a custom search engine in "manage search engines", for example "dow2" as keyword using url

Code: Select all

https://encrypted.google.com/search?q=site:dawnofwar.info+%s
. Typing dow2<tab> in address bar will now let you search this site directly.
