So, you know how the AI doesn't power bash?

I was just watching one of TotalBiscuit's DOWII videos, and there's a bit where an AI Sentinel clearly starts shooting at a power node: http://youtu.be/FeqPGmxnfvU?t=13m31s

This is from the Retribution demo, so I was wondering if there was a time when the AI power bashed and then Relic broke it, or if this is just a weird buggy thing.

No it came with elite when it was made that units no longer automatically attack power nodes. If you remember in retail while they "bash" ndes they don't ever bash generators, they just try to capture them off you. It was complained about in elite that often when kiting away from stuff with tanks they would shoot at the node achieving very little and missing the proper target and so the first sentence of this paragraph.

Oh, I see. My mistake. I was just wondering because one of the reasons playing against people is different to playing the AI is that people power bash, so I was curious to see the AI shooting a node.

The AI does throw grenades at the nodes out of interest.
