Hi, kinda new to the elite mod, but after seeing countless replays over the last many months im wondering if there couldnt or shouldnt be a better icons for the GK squads.
Might be because im not that used to seeing them, but i find it really hard to tell them apart when the game is playing.

Anyways, i know new stuff needs to be made by hand so im not expecting anything, just wanted to throw it out there to be seen.

Love the new icon/thumbnail for the raptors (havent seen the other new ones yet)

Show GK some more love on the same area if possible, since they do kinda look alike.

i wouldn't mind seeing alot of units get updated icons tbh. But that's not a main concern, simply a side note. I'm much more concerned about unit balancing than aesthetics

What OP is talking about is not aesthetics, but functionality. I get confused by their icons as well as they are very hard to distinguish from each other. Main reason why I didn't play GK.

Hi guys, I'm in charge for the unit icons
As for the GK unit portraits, I can do a re-work since indeed they look quite identical. I1ll need to finish up the other new unit portraits first. Rigth now, I'm doing the Termi commander + assault termi + diff. pic for devastators, since it was requested that it looks too identical to Tac. marines (true... hard to see the difference in the roster...).
After that I'll do the DLC unit portraits for IG, and while I'm at it some guys requested to re-work the basic IG infantry portraits as they got the short end of the shaft with portraits xD

I'll be posting the finished unit portraits here in my thread and the properly cropped ones at the realeases thread ^^

Yeah, the problem is half GK squads have the same helmet.

A possible solution could be that the new Purgation icon shows a bit the GK incinerator in the down right corner, and the Interceptors could have a more far image where shows a bit the teleport backpack.

I can play around with that actually
I can show the backpack similar to how devastators got it ^^
I think I can come up with a new portrait for each Their helmet and stuff do differ in small things tho At least I'll try to make them look different =)
I think the GK will be on top of my list after I'm done with the Terminator Commander ^^
