Windows closing elite mod

Hi everyone,

I keep getting getting alt tabbed from the game and eventually crashed out within elite mod and this is the error i get within event viewer hopefully someone can help

First thing I'd like to ask you is whether or not normal Retribution works for you. Can you come back on this?

I'll try running it tonight but I dont have this issues with other games such as gta5 bfh

I've got to be the bad egg and ask: Is your version of Retribution cracked?

It ran fine on my older Pc and my new one had just reinstalled windows like a day ago so no idea what the issue is

So you'r saying that normal Retribution no longer works on your PC?

My normal retribution is running fine no issues what so ever same with the rest of the games i play it seems to be an issue with elite mod,

and no it is a valid copy

Hmm, well at this point I would tell you to do the basic checkup. Make sure that you correctly installed elite, there's nothing unusual in the launch options etc etc. You might want to uninstall and reinstall elite if there's a problem in your files that you can't identify.

I found that GeForce experience was the main cause of this issue and most of the alt tabbing has gone away since uninstalling it, but there is one programme still causing at least one every hour or so, does anyone have any idea on what it could be?

If you have a second screen, I'd recommend just leaving task manager open on the side while you play and see if you detect anything unusual. Otherwise, I'd say that you need to go into your processes and close down anything unnecessary while making sure that any startup programs you have aren't interfering. My gut tells me this might be an antivirus issue from here.
