				Asking an idea about Combi-Flamer

				First of all, for those who have lost the final changelog topic from Caeltos ; 
http://dawnofwar.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1642&p=39892&hilit=Final+2.3.2#p39892I have heared that, we (actually they but do not mind it) are going to buff the Chainaxe of the Warboss when he gets his Custom Shoota. And the reason for that is to save it from being too useless in later game. So it will become less useless and I liked it. Sounds fair to me.
So, I said, why don't we have the same for Chaos Lords Combi Flamer? It even costs more power. Yes, because of its ability I know it. But why not? I can still threat everybody in melee combat, and this will save my Combi-Flamer selection from being weak in T2 or even in T3. I mean, I shouldn't be punished for wanting to take down a turrent and pay more money for melee.
Sometimes, I even don't buy other melee weapons of Chaos Lord. Because there aren't any Termies, Nobz or other things like these. Or Tyranid late game where Carnifs are. But when I start a combat with Tacs, I can't take a model with the default weapon. So having a buff can help me (or us, not sure about that one) here. More powerfull, but not too powerfull.
I don't really want to give numbers about the buff, but shouldn't be more than a Power Sword damage of the Force Commander. (It is 50 dps)

				Yes the combi-flamer has an ability that is pretty good early game but people usually (or me at least) dont get it specifically for the ability but the ranged damage it provides. His combi flamer does 31.61 dps (or 70 damage per hit) and for the sake of an example thats almost as much dps as a single csm squad (without upgrades) does with their bolters (13.42 dps or 23 damage per hit). 
What that range damage increase does is makes kiting the Chaos Lord less beneficial since he will still be able to peel off models and gain levels ALOT faster as well as causing bleed to your opponent. So yea there is an ability but to me thats more of an area denial or anti garrison ability and I look at the combi bolter because of the range damage increase it gives. 
Allowing melee damage increase to be equal to the FC powersword would make this weapon be purchased almost every game for the Cl since it give insane range damage in t1 and scary power melee damage in t1 that is on a tanky commander that cannot be knocked down or suppressed and has a KB on demand ability that also heals him. I think it would be OP. Idk about other people but there are my thoughts.
I will admit I do want an FX for the sword when the combi bolter is purchased. Like the sword is wrapped in Chaos flames. There is an fx for that. i'd know

				We can make his melee damage scale though Tiers, something similar to Shoota Boyz' Nob Leader effect. +10%/+20% melee damage in T2/T3, for example.  A lvl 10 Chaos Lord is going to make 42.432 dps in T3 with this buff.

				CL does not need a change in his dmg output. He is already arguably the best hero in the game. And combi flamer is one of the most strongest wargears in t1 since it destroys single models. Additionaly he is a 1k hp monster which can get a boost speed thx to tic worship.

				That change to the custom shoota seemed so meager to me. And my opinion on the combi-flamer will stay the same forever - this a weapon that hurts units very badly on someone who cannot be thrown away or pinned down, has a huge health pool and a natural ability to throw about any attacking melee units. This alone is sufficient to not buff it in any way. And then there is an ability to basically prevent any units from hiding in a garrison and just for using it on suppressed units. The change to the custom shoota might have been more significant! But honestly why does this niche wargear needs to be buffed when it performs already well against ranged-based army compositions? In a situation when you can't land a hit in melee, you have this weapon to stay back and contribute to the fight just by firing a ranged gun.

				It helps alot with leveling your chaos lord who can often struggle to get xp as he is focused fired and easy to kite tbh. Allows him to scare of melee blobs due to immolate and can put out good damage vs single entity's something chaos struggles with. It does good damage and i recall seeing nosiy using it in tier 1 against a sm player and just left him in ranged stance to kill scouts and put ranged fire near the vp. 
It also go's well with war-gear like a great combo is combi+let the galaxy burn and icon or korn or demonic visage. Just because its a ranged weapon doesn't mean u cant use him in close combat. Its very useful against guard and orks and can really let him get xp and kill tier 1 models like dire avengers and guardsmen.
Sub zero think hit this on the head. If anything i would like to see the cl's starting ranged weapon get a buff as it tickles models and i recall the fc getting his stating pistol getting a buff?
