(4p) Argus Desert Gate

Reaction to this map has been mixed. I think some feel that converting a very laned 3v3 map has resulted in a 2v2 map that is "too linear". What does everyone think? Don't wanna put maps in just for the sake of it.

The map is pretty nice, i would keep it
Also a 1v1 Argus Desert Gate would be nice :p

The map is less linear than hybris if I'm honest. Doubling is a little easier and it certainly isn't as narrow. To be fair I think linear maps are absolutely horrendous, they create so much disbalance in certain MUs since vehicles (especially tanks) are not great, but argus still is quite wide. It's definitely playable and as a consequence it is definitely enjoyable, keep it! Besides if players don't like it then they don't have to play it, there's no ranked function in elite. I simply refuse to play on Hybris whenever I can because I hate it XD

It's not bad, but could the far left lane(bot) be removed and both the mid-top lane increased in size?
And perhaps add more ways to travel from top to mid and viceversa.

Just too linear and narrow for me. If the left lane could be deleted and the mid and top lane somehow gets stretched - I'd be all for it. This way idk. I never played a fun and fluent game on it so far.

keep it but definitely update it with variations. I love argus though. So this map is exactly what i wanted to see. less wide more long would be a good example of what to do with it

There will be some changes for the next build and we'll see how it goes.
