Dawn of War Codex

Hi all,

anybody has this game? I know that Indrid has it because I saw it in a cast .

Could we organise a tournament?:D

Is this worthy of general discussion? And no sorry, I don't have it.

Love it but, shame on me, got only unlicensed version of the game.

I've heard that the system is actually pretty deep, but I'm not paying 25 bucks for it.

The multiplayer sucks. PBEM only in 2014?! Can't see your opponent play their turns. I think they implemented a "replay" of the turn now but still pretty shoddy. Also no army or game customisation in terms of points, you're just given an army and thrown into a scenario with some spare points to spend. You take your turn and then get dumped back out into the lobby until your opponent finishes theirs. Devs too lazy to change their ancient MP system from the Panzer games. "People don't have time to play the MP in real time" they reason. I guess that's why Civ etc has no MP right? Derp.

The multiplayer was incredibly disappointing. Could have been great to build an army and then fight. Single player is still fun, but I don't think there's enough depth to charge what they do.

Well I guess they did go with the hotseat mp so you can take all the time you want and it prolly takes longer to finish a game in panzer corps/panzer general/armageddon compared to civ, could be wrong though.
