Title says it all. I played Retribution a bit, but was never anything special. Looking for some people to play with to improve/get a feel for Elite.

Now that the new patch has arrived you can use "Find Game" to find opponents on your skill level ^^

Depends on how lucky you are, atm it's running like the retail matchmaking :/

But in all seriousness, maybe the Devs will find a way to use a seperate rating system. PhatE mentioned something about the skill ratings being saved in some sort of local database.... Might actually be worthwhile to have Elite's own Rating System.

Yeah... I'm pretty find game doesn't take skill into account WHATSOEVER. Because it hasn't in retail since the last relic patch so...

Which is really weird since all the MM games I've played have been reasonably even.

So either I'm really lucky or I'm just a......

That was before the relic server update, it's now remotely stored and (un)handled on their end. Adding our own MM/leaderboards is not feasible, I think the best we can do at this point is to contact sega/relic support and tell them we want the product we bought working again, or something.
