I had 2 consecutive crashes when a 3v3 game is loading. Anyone else getting the same thing?

EDIT : Nothing is wrong now but just an annoying lag phase in game. You can sleep safely now.

I've had a drop so far but I think that has more to do with my shitty internet and less about the game.

Any specifics? Which map, which races being played (DLC, etc.), anything that could help focus in on the problem? Just saying there's a crash doesn't really help locate the problem. Or could just be bad luck I guess.

Seems to be random. I always play gk, so it's not race. And I play some of the new maps, so it's not that either. Just happens all of a sudden when the game hits the loading screen.

i have this prob too, and no idea how to fix it

i kinda fixed the Problem, had 4 games in a row now, without crashing while loading:

i Play the game in the german Version, so i had allways to copy the elite.ucs file in the german Folder. i deleted the file from the german folder and had no crashes anymore.

i have no unit/wargear etc. descriptions for elite mod stuff anymore, cause of deleting the elite.ucs, but its playable...btw had this Problem never before, just since 2.4.

edit: i had like 10 games in a row and now i crash again---really no idea why. so it isnt the elite.ucs looks like...

Got this 4 times in a row just now. CTD when the match starts loading.
- Installed the patch today and loaded 3 games without issue (1 playing as GK and 2 as observer).
- Then 4 crashes in a row trying to play as Eldar (tried elite schemes 3 times and a reguler scheme once).
- Various 3v3 maps, all custom games.
- I can start games vs AI without ctd.

Will try to reinstall DoW2 and elite mod when I have time and see if it helps.

Can you post the error reports from Documents\my games\Dawn of War II - Retribution\Logfiles\warnings.txt ?

Edit: will upload if/when it crashes again.

warnings.txt is overwritten when you start the game so if there was no crash in this last instance you played there's no trace of the crash. Save it and upload again after a crash if you can.

Ah, that explains it. I'll upload it again if/when it happens again.

Question: was anyone in the game playing IG; specifically the Vostroyan scheme?
