This isn't really a balance argument, but would surely need to be balanced: Any plans to add melta bombs to the fire dragons? (as per
http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Fire_Dragons I assume it's canon.)

If DoW II worked as the lore does, then Eldar would be winning every game until Marneus Calgar dropped from the skies and caused them to lose 500vps.
I don't think the melta bomb is required considering the chase potential of Fire Dragons.

Fuck the canon.
I love the lore and fictional universe (still reading and re-reading my 40k) but fuck the canon as any basis for BALANCING A VIDEO GAME ENHANCED BY THE HARD WORK OF MODDERS FOR FREE BASED ON COMPETIVE 1V1 COMBAT.
OP: you need to discuss gameplay and balance reasons why something needs to happen - and keep in mind lots of work goes into simply adding abilities and fx to units for something like this, even people as talented as Elite contributers.
Fire dragons are also fast as hell.... them will melta bombs......

Well the lore is made to enhance the table top game which is canon. The DoW computer games are based off the table top so in this case canon has a lot to do with. Isn't melta bombs a human weapon?

Lore doesn't help to balance issues. And balance is the thing what this mod created for. Also, why did you ask who made melta bombs? How is it going to help?

Yep I agree lore doesn't really help that much except establish all the different units, weapons, and abilities in the game. The table top game establishes the different factions strengths and weaknesses and have to try to balance them so players can play a fair game. I asked about melta bombs because destructomat asked if fire dragons are going to get melta bombs and I always thought only humans (or former humans) use melta bombs.

Tecnology knows no race exept Orks. I think an Eldar should be able to throw a grenade on a tank. Also, at some points Eldars, Orks and mandkind can use others races weapons. I heard that Imperial Guard selling some weaponry to these Eldars from one of my lore-fan friend. ALSO ; they are using melta weapons. Why not bomb?

Why not? you give firedragons a melta bomb, should we give the warpspiders a different kind of grenade or another ability perhaps?

And here we go, revamping the entire eldar faction once again to both balance and make such changes not be redundant.

I think we are just discussing, not modding here.

My post isn't misplaced. You can have a discussion about revamping the faction and whatnot and my post would still stand. It's about the noun of the subject. Person, place, thing, idea. Most people tend to forget about the idea part.

That's very true, lots of ideas but nothing that is coherent or focussed. And although I appear as an idea quashing annoying person, I used to do all this stuff in the past too. It's something we eventually stop doing when we understand more of the balance, so I now take every suggestion with a pinch of salt when I see a new thread on "X unit should be Y because Z".

When I reread the lore, I noticed it mentioned adhering to any surface, and manual (voice) detonation, which made me think it was more like a planted (satchel/improvised?) charge, than a thrown grenade. Which changes little if fire dragons are already OP.
