As I said.
In my korean community, many people said horde army is weak (ah, except Mighty horror incarnate NIDS) And eldar still powerful (banshee is so madness) too strong space marine and CSM(Heavy infantry) and we see 3 sm 2 csm 1 other race every game.
I dont think criticize, literally have question. What is balancing criterion? 1v1? 3v3? MRT? Modder's personal opinion? Or what?
And, this is real last, do u think solve this population disparity between faction?
I dont want harm u, i like elite mod and warhammer 40k.
I have a question: what is balancing criterion?

Game is balanced around 1v1, but things that are OP in team games are considered as well to make their impact manageable.
Can you elaborate on what you mean by population disparity?
If I had to take a guess at what is means, few recent changes are interesting and worth testing out (such as imperial guard's buff to guardsmen, some upkeep changes...)

I can assure you, "horde armies" are definitely not weaker than any other ^^
There is no way to solve the "population spread over races problem."
It's the same in 40K tabletop.
Are Space Marines the best tournament winning race? No.
Is 50% Space Marines (variants) in tournaments? Yes.
So what the F gives? People just play with the race they like, most of the time.

Re: I have a question: what is balancing criterion?
I believe the OP thinks that percentages of players playing races is purely a function of balance?
It is true that in many games of this nature, a sizable chunk of people play the "OP race." But it is a logical error to look at the percentages of people playing a race and try to determine balance from that. In a perfectly balanced game, there will be disparities because people are different and prefer different races.
Just ask yourself why you chose the race you play? Was it because of your perception of balance (you thought the race was OP, and your prime motivation was to win)? Or was it that "monsters are cool" (if you are a tyranid player) or "I like power and evil and demons" (if you are a chaos player)?
