Dawn of War Codex

Hello everyone,

I have just started up a YouTube series where I pitch two units against each other for supremacy. The idea is to show new (and experienced maybe) players who would win in a 1 v 1 fight.

I have included upgrades and abilities and I have only recorded the 1 v 1 unit fights that would obviously be close. I.e I haven't shown a Dreadnought vs Scouts xD.

Please check them out and give me as much feedback as possible. This is the first time I have done a dedicated YT channel.

I will be including some time stamps too, so you don't have to watch the whole video to find the units you want to see.

Indrid's already done that. With the very same title actually! I suppose it doesn't hurt to start over after a few patches.

I completely agree with you. Indrid did do a few videos comparing units to each other. I feel he went for quality over quantity where he listed the details related to each of the units. I however just wanted to show people as quickly as possible who would win in a straight fight

Please do GM vs Genestealers! I hope you can find a way to use their synaps without on the fight. EG : Use Genestealers vs Oryns but Genestealers has melee syneps back from warriors but warriors are not in combat, just sitting in the back.

Nice, but remember due to randomness in specials and sync-kills you cannot claim these are perfect examples.

Of course I can't, but I can show people what happened during a fight so they can make their own conclusions.

People can think well the only way the Raptors won was because of blah and blah, otherwise the ASM would of won. In a game situation if the vanilla Raptors and vanilla ASM actually fought against each other, there will be lots of other factors. At least both players will know that there it is a fairish fight

Vereneble and GK Dread were just brofisting eachother or play rock-paper-sciors(?).

Also, hero fights I think should be done like once Indrid did. Bıth of them lvl10 and has the tankyest and the most damagest builds rolls out. Lvl1 without wargear fights are not fun to watch.

I have tried lvl 10 heroes fighting each other, was fun!

I thought those Kasrkins would fare more well than they did versus those DA's.

Out of the gates Kasrkin aren't very powerful. You really need to get the grenade launchers up so you can deal long range damage

I was sick of seen CSM fights but doesn't matter. I lauged at the begging where Avatar kills tics Also, it seems you didn't used the full potenciacy of heores. Warlock could a better job if he had Champions Robe insted of Providance. Same for Farseer.

The reason for the CSM is that they are the backbone of the Chaos force. I felt that most people would want to see the real limitations of this commonly used unit.

The video is not meant to be watched all in one, but more for people to pick and choose which fights they want to see. If you watch it all in one god it must be incredibly boring
