UI Dissapearing after alt tabbing

If I alt tab during a loading screen or while in game my UI will disappears or parts of it will disappears. Also a side affect of it seems to be that it causes some lag on my PC after I alt tab back in, causing my game to run at half the speed it normally does.

Not had this issue before, only started today when I disabled one of my cards on my PC, before I was using crossfire but that was causing problems with stream so I turned the second one off, and now this issue arises.

PC specs if relevant:

Intel i7-3770k
Asus Maximus V Formula Z77
Corsair 16Gb RAM
2 x MSI HD7970 Lightning BE

First screenshot is where the UI went completely when alt-tabbed during loading screen.
Second and third screenshot is where I alt tabbed mid game and I could not see health indicators above gaurdsmen, turret, catachans etc

Is there any way to sort this without stopping myself from alt tabbing completely?

Another thing, is there a way to disable dead units on the ground?

The fix is don't alt tab in loading screens, the game doesn't like things interfering with the loading.
