Hey, I'd like to thank everyone who created this mod for bringing me the joy of playing this game again, firstly.
Second of all, ya'll remember how you could edit DLC armies painting namely Shalesey's video and all? Well I've done that but for some reason it won't transfer to the elite mod.
Anyone knows a way to do that? I know its no big deal, but I am a huge sucker for wanting to get this done.

Thanks in advance, and great to see this game still living on, to a presumably better and exciting state, only wish Dawn of war 2 would have an nvidia profile so I could help my sucky PC run it a tad better.

It's easy with Elite Mod.

Just open defaultchaptercolours.lua in ELITE/Data/Config with a text editor. Find the scheme you wanna change and edit the colour/badge names. You'll need to know the names of the colours you want to use.

Note: For the beta, you need to change it in Elite_beta. You'll have to redo it for each update so might wanna keep the relevant section(s) handy to copy/paste. Try to avoid simply overwriting new defaultchaptercolours.lua with old edited ones as you won't get any new schemes that the mod may add.

Works with elite, crashes with elite_beta tho, odd.Nvm I got it to work, apparently messing with Imperial fist DLC isnt a good ideea, thanks for the help Indrid!

^did by any chance your screen start tearing up when you tried to choose a map? it happened to me when i tried to alter the colour of the imperial fist DLC. (the problem went away however when i re installed the beta 4...)

You should be able to alter the Imperial Fists DLC no problem.
Checked for typos?

No, the game was simply crashing after the initial loading screen.

And yes Riku I did, I am too lazy to try again or reinstall, as I don't play SM anyway, I edited the FC helm DLC, thats good enough.Thanks again for the help
