so i wanted to hear what kind of problems people have run into if/when they upgraded to windows 10 and playing daw2 elite..

the game has always been buggy inc. the famous soundbug. but after i upgraded to win10... the whole game just got even worse..
crashes... low frames... screen goes black for 5sc and then comes back into the game.

i really like win10 so iam not going back..maybe ill just intall the game on win7 on another HD
but anyway... what are your experiences with win10/daw2

Speaking of the soundbug, I never experienced it once with Windows 7, then I decided to "upgrade" to Windows 10 and I have had it occur several times.

windows 10 no issues.

It was actually something I read that you said you had tried it and had no issues that made me switch to win 10. it works the same if not better.

it did work well at first.. but then came the funny stuff... but again ... it could just be the latest release of the game... ... really hard 2 tell

I'm on windows 10 and have definitely been experiencing issues, although I didn't attribute them to the OS until seeing this.

I've had the black screen bug, my framerates are lower despite having a system significantly more powerful than I used to and I've also been getting just general instances of the game locking up for 5-10 seconds before catching up with the action in fast forward.

Running Win 10 since start. Never had any problems. In fact the soundbug occurred never since the upgrade while on Win 8 it almost happened on daily basis. On the other hand I didn't play Dow2 that much in the last couples of weeks.

I too can confirm that the sound bug has been occuring very often since my switch to Windows 8. I never had any issues with it on Windows 7. Good thing people are posting their experience with Windows 10 as it seems the issues are still there (despite exceptions like Batpimp).

Never a single problem, but i also use a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 for my audio, so there is that.

Have had generally worse performance on DoW2 since Win10. Performance in obs has completely nosedived though, lucky if I have 15 fps whereas I had no problems before. Has made it unwatchable for me.

Had a few soundbugs since the move also, though none for a while.

I'm not sure if it's Windows 10 or just the video card drivers that I got when I installed Win10. Could try rolling back drivers to fix it but it's annoying to switch for one game.

Game's been fine for me (nVidia card). Performance has actually improved across the board.

Heard less-than-stellar reports about AMD, but that's their problem to sort.

i tried 10 , and go nailed by some rather nasty driver crashes that would happen almost instantly. had to revert to 7 (using nvidia)
