Dawn of War Codex

Hello everyone!

I just noticed that both the Space Marine and Chaos balance threads have been locked. I usually read the balance threads (and watch game replays) in order to get other players' impressions of the game, and I was really intrigued by some of the ideas being discussed by veteran players on those forums.

I don't have any authority here, but I did want to comment, and voice my support for continued balance discussion of chaos and (especially) space marine units. (My request is a little selfish. I am particularly invested in Space Marine gameplay, as some of you already know.)

Caeltos closed the threads because people were taking shots at eachother as players and it was just getting out of hand. I don't blame him really because everyone has different opinions, and sadly some of them being lower leveled players they really shouldn't have as much authority as some of the better players, but such is life. I'm not sure if he'll reopen them, but i find it somewhat unlikely.

I think if you have a concern about about a particular wargear or unit, the proper approach now is to just open a new thread. Race specific ones can get unwieldy I suppose.

It's because of several reasons, but I want to rework the balance discussion topics.
