Question about abilities that affect allies vs only your units

Hey all. Has anyone ever gone through all the abilities in this game that affect allied units and cataloged which ones affect allied players and which ones exclusively affect your own units? I don't recall this being specified in the codex (and it's down right now so I can't double check).

I like this idea: it would help a lot of newbies and 3v3 players. Not just abilities (passive/triggered buffs and debuffs) bug also globals as well. Alongside this: structure and vehicle effects (eg buff or reinforcement).

Does it effect ALL allies? Does it only effect allies of the same faction?

Eg a newbie seeing Bloodletters reinforcing of an allied Chimera in the mid of battle might be in for a shock.

The descriptions usually states when it only affects certain models (like Synapse only affects certain Tyranid models.)
I don't usually look at descriptions though. Most abilities make sense. Or after you tried them out once you know for the next time :)

The Codex is very precise most of the time when it comes to which units are affected by an ability. It's all hidden in the semantics though 8-)

P.S: The Codex is back up again

Are you referring to the terms loyal/allied? I have seen those two used for different abilities.
