General info

In order to register for this tournament its necesary to post either the names of the participants that will play (4 min) or the link to the group page from the clan as well as confirmation that they will play.

Registrations are open till december 10th

Brackets will be up december 10th

The tournament will be played in the 3v3 format.
The tournament will be welcome to All Skill Levels, minimum of 4 players per clan.
The tournament will be played on the 2.4.2 patch.

Needless to say that the prize is the "honor" of winning this tournament since giving gifts to an entire clan could be very difficult and this is mostly for the fun of it.

Also would be advisable that all members of the clan wear the same clantag for the games and that they are ready 5-7 min before the tournament starts.

Maps for each round:

Argus Desert Gate
Calderis Refinery
Avensa Stronghold

Rules:

First round will be played on argus desert gate with standard game rules , 500 VPs and random starting locations.

Games will be BO3 all the way to the finals.

After the first game looser clan can pick ANY 3vs3 map from the map pool (yes that includes maps like swamps of slaughter or armaggedon river crossing), also they have the option to veto up to 1 player from the other clan until the next game. Im puting those rules to make the games more interesting and see if any clan can maybe put a unique/cheesy strategy in one of the less played maps to make the games and the tournament more interesting.

All units factions and comanders allowed, HOWEVER NO BUG USING IS ALLOWED that means that any known bug being exploited like purchasing the cloack of shadows for the WL will automatically result in the loss of that game for the team. If the bug is accidental or both teams agree in rematch the game will be replayed .

If a team does not have a reserve player avaible within 10-15 min when the loosing team makes veto of one of their player the team gets an automatic loss. However they will be allowed to continue playing even if no reserve shows at all for the continuation of the tournament. This rule applies for each round, meaning that the clan/players who dont have replacements will always start with 1 lost game.

Teams will be allowed to get whoever they want for their team in case someone is missing. They dont have to be registred previously. However when a team is defeated in the tournament the players that made that team CAN'T join other teams (Unless BOTH TEAMS agree thats ok)

If a player disconects during the tournament or game crashes its up to the teams playing to decide what should be the course of action, in case that they dont reach an agreement it will be up to the referees (or if i dont get anyone to help me , myself) to decide what should be the course of action. So in order to be impartial (since I might be participating in the tournament as well) im asking if someone please can volunteer for being a referee.

If one team does not showup in 15 mins before the game is ready to be played and they dont find enough players to start the game they will be automatically disqualified.

I can only name 3 clans that are even in DoW off the top of my head; EL, FA and ... The Russian one I don't remember the name. It would be a pretty short tournament if it was just clans.

However, having random joes team up and go at it could be fun. You'll just have to bribe me to do it if we go by normal rules because logistic difficulty increases exponentially. I think Welshy's tournament yesterday should go a good example of what I mean.

I support this idea.

Well its not mean to be anithing major , mostly for fun i already know that.

I think the inFamous 'Ard boys need to have a class reunion.

FA are low to mid level peeps, but you might find some of the more experienced guys up for it. Ahruiz, Jambi, Therin, Aetherion et al.

1) Take that post above this and make it the OP, it wouldn't be a good signup thread if all the info is 9 posts down.

2) Get this announced on the main page pronto and make it clear people can make a new clan to sign up with.

Question! How many individual teams will clans be allowed to sponsor in this tournament? As of the moment the Emperor's Loyalists can field up to four self sufficient teams, and maybe a few more all depending on the timing!

Is it possible to make it for the 9th? I am at work on the 6th.

Since some ppl the proposed day doent work for them please suggest at least 4 different days that would work for you and I will try to pick the date that works for most of the people. And also there is theorically an unlimited number of "clans" of groups of 5 players that can join so if some members from a clan want to go on their own they are ofc free to do so.

December 5th
December 11th - best date for me
December 12th - close to best date
December 27th

Every day after December 10th is best day.

9th 10th 11th and 12th are the best days for me personally, not sure about the rest of the clan.

Ok i've asked max (since he will be streaming the tournament, again thanks) and he says that 12/12 should work well for him, so if this day works better for all potential participants then we will do the tournament the 12th. Also im thinking of maybe putting 4 player minimum and 1 veto x team , since perhaps finding 5 players could be tricky but im still not decided on that. Any suggestions?

Would mean more people can play, sounds better to me. Or just go with teams of 3
There should probably also be a rule that 1 person can't be on the sideline for 2 games per round. (with 4 people per team)
