Am I the only one who has seen their set-up teams insta-wiped by a manticore? It's gotten to the point where the second that red flare goes down I know the setup is dead, even if I hit x immediately, which I always do.

Are manticores supposed to be point-click counters to setup teams? Has anyone else experienced this who doesnt play eldar?

P.s. Maybe the solution is to not play eldar

I play Eldar, and I don't really have this problem. I've never had a setup team instantly wiped by a Manticore when it's retreating and has a decent amount of life.

If you press 'x' immediately it cant be insta-wiped - setup teams got enough time to take their stuff and start to retreat. Manticore damage to retreating units is almost zero.

Overreacting original post.

You must not be remembering things correctly, manticore rockets do negligible damage to units in retreat.

hmmm, I'll try to post a replay at some point when it happens.
