New players experience in Automatch.

When I have nothing to do and watch a series or an Anime or something I often am in the Automatch queue. It always takes 1hour + to find a game, but thats fine for me. I am also OK with going up against better players, good way to learn.
But, atleast 50% of the games, my enemy is an absolute beginner with often less then 3 games played. Naturally its a very one sided match. Now I try and talk to them and tell them that Automatch is not the best Idea, and that for better matches they should probably go to the customgames, and that skill matchmaking doesn't work in Automatch.
Still, you could say I am a bit socially awkward It's hard for me to talk to them without feeling condesending. I can't even see how many games they have under their belt. "Oh wow, that asshole just steamrolled me and now hes berating me about how I am a noob and he thinks I am new" (Is what I think they will think

Sometimes an enemy is not bad, but just had a really bad game and its sometimes hard for me to tell. And then we sit their for 5 minutes while his vps tick down... and I am not even sure he knows there is a surrender button. But I don't want to say: "Hey there is a Surrenderbutton you know?", thats just rude...

So, what I am getting at is this: It's probably not the best new player experience when you dowload Elite, press the Automatch button (which is sensible if you come from Retail, or just in general), and then get Steamrolled. Customgames atleast have beginner lobbys, or people who already in the lobby can tell you that you may have problems in that match with your level /games played.
So, any Ideas what could be done to take the awkwardness away from me when I automatch (which I do, so that I don't have to talk to people in the first place ), and most importantly to improve the new player experience? Where are points where we could get information to new players? Could we expand this and give new players more information in general, like:

-how automatch works.
-joining beginner labeled lobbys/making their own lobbys/adding people that are nice to play with to their friendslist
-what to expect.
-and so on.
I don't know maybe in a prominent "Announcment" during the Installation process? It doesn't have to be mandatory, just highly visible^^
I am also very interested in how new players would like to see this handled, and what their impression is on the new player experience. Is for example this forum easy to find?
