Can we change it so that units will have voice reaction to Chaos Landraiders similar to Space Marines Landraiders and Chaos Terminators similar to Space Marines Terminators?

I see Chaos Terminators. My guys shout "Chaos Havocs". I am confused.

It's probably because your guys haven't be properly trained. Plus they have likely never met Chaos Terminators before, otherwise they wouldn't be there to tell the tale.

What? How does that explain anything? If they never met Chaos Terminators before, have they met Loyalists Terminators which they address correctly?

Lack of voice acting, therefor placeholder voice-acting stuff.

It's abit of a touchy subject. You don't want like, bad voice acting - so I figured placeholder will suffice.

We should make a voice acting contest here at the Forum. Then we can vote for the best one and everybody is happy

Yeah it would be pretty bogan (redneck), or I can make it more true blue.

I can even throw in sayings that make little sense. For example, if there's not enough resources or something, it can be "We're as dry as a dingo's donga over 'ere!"

Which usually means you're very thirsty but can substitute it for being req/power starved.

I think we need an IG army that has Catachans with Crocodile Dundee hats and new voiceovers.

I went through this back in the old days. I think it's best first for whoever that is making the voice to read onto the characters 'trait' and coupled with accurate dialoague that represents the characters 'trait'.

Each faction has their own respective thematic 'trait's
Chaos - Arrogant, Chaotic(Insane), Crazy
Eldar - Mystical, semi-arrogant , Pedanatic (They're a "dying" race, so their lives matter abit more then any other)
Orks - Goofy, Love for battle, banter etc
Space Marines - Comradery, specific, tactical, stalward (etc etc)
Imperial Guard - Ties in Space Marines, slap on some sense of more hopelessness, and specific units that have 'Authority' + goofy
Grey Knights - (If they had voices) Heroic, holy + stalward & comradery (slap on some IG aspects for Inquisitiorial units)

So, the writing has to be on-point with the representation with the units 'trait' , then the voice actor has to deliever said dialogue to their best of ability. It's alot of pre-production effort, since both parties should do their research and then just make it come to fruition.

What if we want to make Chaos Terme voices for ex? Should we take all CSM qutes and rewrite them and re-act them?

Aahahah yeah. It was a test for your reactions, just wondered it kind of . Also, I just realised that no unit shouts a whole new line for each other unit. So, attack orders will be a whole new subject and reactions when they '' see '' the enemy will be different.

I better open a topic for it maybe.
