Hello. Me and two of my friends have been trying to get two things working with version 2.4.2 of the Elite mod;

First, actually be able to join eachother's games. According to the main menu of the game, we all have the same game version and mod version as eachother.

Second, we would like to raise the popcap of all the races to a ridiculous amount and reduce the upkeep to have massive battles with lots of units.

Any help would be appreciated, but keep in mind, any modding instructions should be dumbed down as much as possible as I've never modded Dawn of War 2 or anything on this engine before.

As for modding I am afraid I cannot help you.

You can edit the mod with Cope's DoW2 Toolbox and change the population caps (they are defined for each faction IIRC), then send the edited files to your friend. You'll need to launch the mod with -dev if you have loose files to load. How-to guides can be found @ Heretek Cabal.
