I played some games recently, never turned on the ESL app while playing, and always played custom games without the 'Ranked' on chat.
And now, I just realized that my games have been reported to your ESL thing.

How is it possible ?
When I read the ESL documentation, it says I have to run the game with the Elite reporte on and to write Ranked.

Am I missing something ?

Your opponent can report the game too, no?

In general yes, you would have to write "unranked" for it to be unranked.
If you have the Reporter running yourself, you can also set the default to unranked, so it only ranks when you write "ranked". But that only works IF you have it running.

Yeah, it's not perfect.^^

I like the Idea that it is on ranked even if you don't write anything as a standart.
But I feel you should not show up in the list with your Steamname untill you link the forum to it. And if you do that, it should be reset.

It's good to gather more data, but if we keep it so that you don't notice anything ingame, then you shouldn't be shown untill you had a chance to understand the system, and understand that you can write/have to write unranked.

Edit: But it's a work in progress, and very nice to have it for now!

Unlike it was changed, you can write "unranked" within the first 2 minutes of the match to have it not count.

Yeah the info on the website is way outdated, gotta fix that. In any case you can set your ranked/unranked default setting on the website (log in on forum, go to main page, click on your name/icon at top right).

Isn't it the first 45 seconds? In either case it still works for sure I did it when labbing some stuff not too long ago, just say it right after "gl hf" and it's fine.

@GuruSkippy Add me on steam, when I mained K-nob for a brief spell a while back I found some of your old casts on someone's recommendation (Toilet's? not sure anymore) and want to play some games, I'm happy to play unranked as well.
