Special Attack On Vehicles And Retreat
Would it be possible to make it so it's impossible for units to make special attacks against vehicles or retreating units? Special attacks don't do AV damage and they also don't track so you can't actually hit retreating units with it. In both situations there is absolutely no reason to do a special attack and it is depressing seeing my units doing them in said situations.

They already shouldn't do it on retreating units. Retreating units are given +50 melee skill in Elite.

The melee specials while attacking vehicles is something that should be imho removed.

Yeah sometimes the special triggers but is not quick enough to catch the unit before it starts retreating, hence a miss. A frightening solution would be to make every walker special track, since only a few do atm and it feels like an imbalance.
Special against vehicules are quite frustrating, but I thought Cael solved this long ago also by increasing vehicle's MS. And ofc that only works for tanks and alike.

Forgot about that. Guess it's just for vehicles then.

no no this mechanic makes sense because vehicles have no skill in melee amirite

I love the idea of jacking up all non-melee vehicles melee skill to something like 100.

Checked the Codex and their melee skill is 50 unless a walker.

Good candidate for a change. With walker melee resistance and tank speed increases, having your heavy melee units proc a special which doesn't track and kills their chase potential is just a slap in the face.
